Beach Bear Cupcakes

Hey everyone! Here are the rest of the decorations and the lovely cupcakes from Camille's baby shower. I know there have been tons of baby shower posts this week, but there was so much baby shower fun that I wanted to share it all with you :) And stay tuned because next week, I'll be sharing everything from my sister-in-law's baby shower. hehehe.

With the surf board theme, I used MDS2 to print out all the surf boards and we scattered them on the tables.

And we also created water bottle wraps for the water bottles. I used a template that I have on MDS2 and just changed up the colors, stamped image and sentiment. To match the theme of the baby shower, they have a surf board on them and say "hello, Milo".

And here are the lovely cupcakes that my friend Jennifer's daughter Raven created. Aren't they awesome! To go with the surf board theme, she custom made these beach scene cupcakes. We added the surf boards to tie it all together. How cute are those teddy grahams laying on the beach towels?!?!?! And look! They even have swimming trunks on!!!! hehehe. And not only were they super cute, but the cupcakes were also oh so yummy :D

Hello, Baby

Hello everyone and Happy Friday! Today I wanted to show you the card that I made for my friend Camille's baby shower. I went with blues since she is having a baby boy. I love Island Indigo and Pool Party :)

There's quite a bit going on with this card. There are several layers and some embossing fun with the Chevron folder (127749). I used MDS2 to print out the surf board. And what's cool about MDS2 is that I used a template for the smaller scallop circle, added the stamped image, changed the colors, printed it out then just used the 1-3/4" Scallop Circle punch (119854) to cut it out then layered it on top of another scallop circle that I punched out with the 2-3/8" Scallop Circle punch (118874).
And the 'hello, baby' sentiment is from the new Sweet Essentials stamp set (Clear 126457, Wood 126455). This stamp set is one of my new faves. It has quite a few different sentiments that you can use to make so many different projects and the font is just so cute to me :)
I also couldn't resist and had to add some banners and a bow using some polk-a-dot ribbon that I had. I thought it would go well with the baby shower gift that I gave them - the diaper cake. Click here if you you'd like to see the diaper cake.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day :)

Diaper Cake

Hello! I have a diaper cake to share with you guys today :) This is the diaper cake that I made for my friend Camille's baby shower. She is having a boy so I added some blue ribbon here and there as decoration for the cake. And the theme of her baby shower was surf boards, so I added a little baby toy with sea animals to go along with the rest of the decor.

And here is the cake on the gift table at the baby shower. Isn't that little blue guy so cute?! With those big eyes and happy smile!?!? hehehe.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day :)

Layered Christmas Tree

Hello everyone! Here is another card that we got to make in Niki's Stamp-a-stack class last week. This card is so cute and was so fun to make! You just take little pieces of DSP and start layering the Christmas Tree. It's such a great way to use up your scraps, right?!?! How cool is that?!?!
And for the star on top of the tree, we used the star from the Holiday Collection Framelits Dies (127814) to cut out the Silver Glimmer Paper (124005).
To add some texture to the card, we also used the Northern Flurry Folder (120902).
I know Halloween is just around the corner and I can't wait to start creating some Halloween cards and decorations but it's not too early to start thinking of those holiday cards! Especially if you want to send out hand made cards to friends and family.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day :)

Surf Board Onesies

Hi! Here's more from Camille's baby shower. To go along with the surf board theme, I made some onesies for baby Milo. I used MDS2 again :) I printed the surf boards from the Summer Splash Stamp Brush Set - Digital Download (126039) onto iron on paper and then ironed them onto the white onesies. (sorry for the somewhat dark and blurry pictures).

And here are the onesies that Marita made. Aren't they so super cute! I really need to get brave and take out my sewing machine so that I can actually get started on a sewing project. hehe. Because look at the fun stuff you can make when you bust out the sewing machine!!

And here are all the onesies together on a line and there's the banner right below it :)

These types of decorations are so fun to make! And I love how mommy and daddy could take home the onesies for baby Milo to wear one day :)

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Hello Baby Milo

Hello everyone! Here is a banner that I made for my friend Camille's baby shower last week. We were thinking of a few different themes for the shower and my friend Marita came up with surf boards! So super cute :) I used MDS2 and the Summer Splash Stamp Brush Set - Digital Download (126039) to print out a bunch of surf boards on Whisper White card stock (100730). They kinda look like little surf board DSP. hehe.

Here is the banner at the baby shower. I decided to go with "Hello Baby Milo".

For the color scheme of the baby shower, I went with the 2011–2013 In Colors -  Calypso Coral, Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party and Wisteria Wonder. And to string the banner together, I used the new 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon in Whisper White (126877).

Come back and visit because this week, I will be sharing more baby shower fun and decorations!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day :)

Holiday Open House

Hey everyone! A few weeks back, my friend and downline Christina had her first SU Holiday Open house. I was very excited for her and all the ladies seemed like they had a great time :) Here is a little display that I put up for her so that her guests could take a look at some samples.

And here is her table all set up with projects ready to go. She had 2 make and takes for the ladies to work on. One Christmas and one Halloween. Stay tuned for those cards. Hopefully I'll remember to share them with you soon ;)

I even got to demo a project that day :) Christina was so sweet to let me demo the Big Shot, which is one of my most favorite tools!! I learned how to make a door hanger from my friend and upline Nicole and they are always a hit when I demo them. Thanks Nicole :D Come back and visit soon, I'll share that project as well :)

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend!!

CAS Halloween

Hello and happy Saturday! Hope you guys are having a great weekend :) Today I'd like to share another card that we got to make in Niki's Stamp-a-Stack this week. This halloween card is clean and simple and oh so cute!

I really like how the Spider Web embossing folder (120889) looks on Whisper White paper (100730). And I like the banners using the Howlstooth & Scaringbone Designer Series Paper (126906). With Halloween just around the corner, I think I'll have to order some of this DSP :) And I need to get some of that 1/2" Striped Satin Ribbon (127837). Love the Basic Gray with Basic Black stripes.

And look at that little spider! So cute!! This little guys is from the Spooky Bingo Bits stamp set (Clear 123946, Wood 123944). Which has been on my wish list for awhile, along with the Jolly Bingo Bits stamp set (Clear 121187, Wood 120857). And with the holidays quickly sneaking up on me, I think I have to get them soon :)

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your Saturday!! Have a great weekend everyone!

For Suzie Q

Happy Birthday Suzanne!!

Hello everyone and happy Friday! Today is a special day because it's my friend Suzanne's birthday :) We have a lot going on at work today with a baby shower so we still need to take her out to celebrate. Hopefully we can take her out next week for lunch. So, last night in Niki's class, we got to make a stack of cards - one to keep and one to give away. Which worked out perfectly because I wanted to make a birthday card for Suz. Here is the card that I'm giving her today.

There is some labor of love with this card with all the piercing going on. I got to play with several new products. For this card, we used the new Paper-Piercing Tool (126189), the new Stampin’ Pierce Mat (126199) and the new Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack (126187). I must admit, I was a little intimidated by this card and wasn't sure if I wanted to do the piercing technique, but I'm glad that I did!

And I think I need to get this stamp set ;) I really like this "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" from the new You’re Amazing stamp set (Clear 126722, Wood 126720). And there's also a really cute hot air balloon included in this stamp set. So cute!!

With all the fun stuff that's going on with this card, we even got to use some of that pretty Primrose Petals 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon (126844). And remember, for the month of September, with every $40 that you spend on a Stampin' Up! order, you get to choose one of the 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon for FREE! Click here for more information or you can email me with an order if you like :)

Have a wonderful Friday and thank for stopping by!

Turkey Lurkey

Hey everyone! Here is one of the lovely cards from stamp camp :) This card is so adorable! And I just LOVE punch art! Don't you? Check out how one of my favorite punches is used for this card.

Isn't this little turkey so cute?!?!?!?! And who knew that you could use the Blossom Punch (125603) to make this turkey?!?! Genius! I have to say it again... I love punch art :) hehehe.

I do love the colors of this card. The Orchard Harvest Designer Series Paper (126895) features a ton of colors that are great for the Fall and Thanksgiving. And that Woodgrain Embossing folder (127821) is another must have for you Big Shot fans out there :)

If any of you are interested in purchasing a to-go kit from Stamp Camp, email me and I can send you all the info but hurry! The to-go kits are only available for purchase for a few more days!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Stamp Camp Demonstration Table

Hey everyone! Today I'd like to talk about some new products from Stampin' Up! At stamp camp last weekend, Niki had a demonstration table all set up where she showed the ladies who went to our Holiday Soiree how to use some of the new products. Isn't this half circle table perfect for her demonstration table? It's like they knew that she was going to share some pretty awesome new tools :)

Here is the new Silicone Craft Sheet (127853). This is so going on my wish list! I got to play with it and it is a must have when working with a hot glue gun. Niki made some rosettes to show everyone how to use the silicone craft sheet. So easy! Also, it's so easy to assemble embellishments! Just drop a dot of adhesive on the sheet and have both hands free to assemble. Let the glue dry completely, then pop embellishment off sheet.

And here is another new tool that is going on my wish list. The new Heat Tool (129053) has the right amount of heat for any technique. And it is pretty quiet! It also has a new slim and sleek design which makes it easier to hold. And there are 2 heat settings - low for drying ink and high for heat-setting powder. I'm thinking this might make it on my next SU order ;)

And next to the heat tool are the new Jumbo Sticky Rounds (127852). These sticky rounds have a strong adhesive for creating rosettes, flowers, and more using paper, ribbon, or fabric. I'm thinking I need to get these since I've been having so much fun making flowers lately :)

And this is DEFINITELY going on my next SU order. The new Stampin’ Scrub® (126200) is awesome! It's larger which makes it easier to clean larger background stamps. The scrub is washable and the fibers are more plush which cleans very detailed stamps well.

And I just got these new products. I am loving the new Paper-Piercing Tool (126189) and the new Stampin’ Pierce Mat (126199). I also like using the pierce mat for stamping. It provides a sturdy and even surface which creates clean and crisp stamped images. It's pretty cool :) I do still need to add the new Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack (126187) to my wish list.

I think having the demonstration table was such a great idea. It's great to see new products in action. And of course, once I saw them in action, I just HAD to have them all!!!! hehehehe.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day :)
