Mother's Day card

Hello everyone! Here is the mother's day card that I made for friends at work and for family that I got to visit. I totally dropped the ball on mailing out these cards to all my mommy friends and to family out of state. I'm so sorry :( But I hope you all had a wonderful mother's day :)
I went clean and simple with this card and used negative space to sponge in these pretty butterflies. I added some itty bitty flowers and a bitty butterfly with pearls to add some dimension.
I also used an embossing folder to add some texture to the edge of the card. I really do like this embossing folder, it adds that fanciness and elegance to cards that I think is pretty :)
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!

NOTE: I am not a Stampin' Up! Representative and this was created for personal purposes.

Flower Pot Card

Good morning! And Happy Sunday!

I know it's already June and it's time to think about projects for Father's Day, but I wanted to share this really cool Mother's Day card that we got to make in Niki's FOR MOM class. Click here to check out Niki's Flower Pot card. And click here for Niki's June class schedule.

One of the great things about going to Niki's classes is that you learn tips & tricks. And there is a trick to attaching the flowers on this flower pot card. The trick is to adhere the flowers on the card while on top of an envelope so that the card fits inside the envelope when the card is complete.

Here are the flowers close up. I just love the Summer Smooches DSP. Another one of my new favorites :) And look! There's that Blossom Punch at work again!

I've been wanting to learn how to make this flower pot card and when I showed my friend Marita, she came up with the great idea of creating a graduation cap. Brilliant, right?!?! I made a graduation cap for my brother-in-law. Click here if you would like to check it out. And hop on over to MadeByRitz to check out all the great projects Marita has made. She is super talented!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend :D

Guest Stamper - Joshua

Good morning everyone! Happy Sunday!!

Today I would like to share a couple of projects that my little nephew made for his mommy and daddy. He is turning out to be quite the little crafter :)

This canvas project was for my sister-in-law for Mother's Day. Look at that cute face! OK, maybe I'm biased ;) And look at those cute buttons, flowers and bling!

And here is the card that he made for my brother's birthday. Gotta love projects with little hand prints! Finger painting is so much fun with this kid. Love it!

Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of your weekend :D

Gifts for Mother's Day

Good morning everyone! TGIF :D

This year for Mother's Day, I jumped at the chance to feed my new obsession - Jewelry Making. I am loving every minute when I get to sit down and make some jewelry. For the gals on my team at work, I made them these bracelets. When I made each bracelet, I used beads that reminded me of each one of them :)

I gave this one to Char, which totally matched her outfit that day.

I gave this one to Catherine, which did not match her outfit. hehe.

I gave this one to Patricia, which did match her outfit but she usually wears a lot of pretty bling so she only wore it for a little bit.

And this one was for Marita, and this bracelet also matched her outfit so she wore it that day like Char did :)

I also made bracelets for my mom, for my sister-in-law (which my nephew took credit for haha) and for my mother-in-law. I didn't get to take pictures of those bracelets but since I did get requests for matching earrings, hopefully I'll remember to take pictures of them so that I can share them with you :)

Enjoy your Friday!!!!

For Mother's Day

Hello everyone!

With all the different sets of Mother's Day cards that I made this year, I wanted to try out some of my new pre-order items on one of the cards. I must say that I am a huge fan of all my new product and I am so excited about the launch of the new 2012-2013 Stampin' Up! catalog!

Looking at the card, what do you see that's new? Maybe new colors? Maybe new DSP? Maybe a new bigz die? Maybe a new framelit?

As most of you already know, I love anything and everything Big Shot and these new framelits are definitely a must have! Well, at least for me they are ;) Here's a close up shot of one of the new framelits. Cute, right?!

If you're like me and can't wait to browse through the new catalog, then join us for a Stampin' Up! Catalog Launch Party on Saturday, June 2! You will get your very own catalog and a chance to play with amazing new product. If you still need to send in your registration form, do it soon and I'll make sure to reserve you a spot and have your materials ready. If you need a registration form, email me and I can send you one.

Have a wonderful day! Thanks for stopping by :)

Another Mother's Day Card

Good morning!

Here is another Mother's Day card that I made for my friends and family. I was excited to try out the versamark technique and I decided to try it on some 5 x 7 cards.

Again, love using punches and embossing folders :) I had to get a little creative with the polka dots embossing folder on the 5 x 7 cards since they were larger than the embossing folder.

Here are the supplies I used to make this card:
Scallop Trim Border Punch (118402)
Large Oval Punch (119855)
Scallop Oval Punch (119856)
Natural Hemp Twine (100982 - this is on the retired list so get some before they're gone!)
Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (117335)
Mixed Bunch Stamp Set (Carry over stamp set from Occasions Mini - Clear 125537, Wood 125535)
Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set (115370)

Have a wonderful day!

Simple Mother's Day Card

Happy Monday!

Here is another Mother's day card that I made for friends and family. I went with simple on this card. I wanted to showcase the pretty designer paper and some punches.

And what's great about this paper is that one side has the pretty pattern and the other side is a solid color so I didn't have to break out other card stock except for the flowers. And yes, there's more bling :)

Here is a list of supplies I used to make this card:
Scallop Trim Border Punch (118402)
Modern Label Punch (119849)
Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309)
Basic Rhinestones Jewels (119246)
Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set (115370)

Enjoy your day and start to the week :)

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Hello! Happy Mother's day to all the moms out there :)

For those mothers who are here and those who are no longer with us, no matter where they may be, they will forever be in the hearts of those who they have touched. Mothers are amazing women and today we celebrate you.

Here is another card that I made for friends and family. Sorry if these cards seem like they are never ending. I promise, there are just a couple more Mother's Day cards that I want to share with you ;)

I used one embossing folder, but featured both the debossed and embossed side of the card stock.  Here's a closer shot. Hopefully you can see the difference.

And of course I added a little bling to the flowers because what gal doesn't like a little bling :)

Natural Hemp Twine (100982 - this is on the retired list so get some before they're gone!)

A Card for Mother's Day

Hey everyone! Happy Friday :)

Mother's Day is just around the corner and this year, I made different sets of cards for family and friends. On this set of cards, I used the Labels Collection Framelits, the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz die and the Framed Tulips & the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folders.

I had fun making these cards because I got to use several big shot items. And like I've said before, I love the big shot :)

Along with the different big shot products that I used to make these cards, I used the Summer Smooches DSP, the pretty fabric brads and different coordinating card stock to go with the DSP.

Thanks for stopping by! TGIF :D

Happy Mother's Day card

Hello everyone! TGIF :D

Here is another card from Niki's Spring Inspired class. Click here to see her post with all of the projects from class. This butterfly mother's day card was so fun to make. We got to use one of my favorite tools - the big shot :) We got to use the polka dots embossing folder and the beautiful wings embosslits dies, which I love! Because it not only die cuts the shapes, but embosses at the same time!

And I learned a new way to use the square scallop punch. On this card, three scallop squares were used to create one long scallop rectangle. I love when I can use punches in different ways.

Here is a supply list of product used to make this card:
Basic Gray Card Stock (121044)
Whisper White Card Stock (100730)
Pear Pizzazz Card Stock (119795
Twitterpated Designer Series Paper (125406)
Basic Gray Classic Stampin' Pad (109120)
Scallop Square Punch (119884)
Modern Label Punch (119849)
Word Window Punch (119857)
Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (117335)
Beautiful Wings Embosslits Dies (118138)
Basic Gray 5/8" Satin Ribbon (124326)
White Baker’s Twine (124262)
Basic Rhinestones Jewels (119246)
