Happy Birthday card

Hello! Here is the card that my husband asked me to make for a friend at work for her birthday.

For her birthday card, I went with some Afternoon Picnic DSP (131390). I really do like this Designer Series Paper. It's one of my new faves :) To punch out a couple of windows on this card, I used the Hexagon punch (130919) and stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment inside the window. I then added some butterflies and itty bitty flowers.... a couple more faves of mine.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!!

Father's day cards

Hey everyone! Here are the Father's Day cards that we gave to all the dads in our family over the weekend. I went clean and simple with this year's cards and went with neutral colors. I made two different sets of cards.
I used the new Hexagon punch (130919) on this card and lined them up together so that I could stamp the sentiment across them.
For this card, I reversed the look by using the card stock for the background and added a strip of DSP behind the sentiment to help make it pop on the card.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week :)

Thank You

Hello! This thank you card is a CASE from a magazine I saw the other day. When I saw this card, I knew that I had to try and make it right away :)
The "Thank You doesn't begin to say it all..." is from the new Lots of Thanks stamp set (Clear 129690, Wood 129687). This new stamp set has quickly become one of my go-to stamp sets for thank you cards. There are so many different ways to express your thanks to someone.
I used the new Afternoon Picnic DSP (131390). This is one of my favorite DSPs at the moment. I also used the Elegant Butterfly punch (127526) and the small flower punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309).
Thanks for stopping by and have a Happy Friday!!

World's Greatest Mom

Hello!! Here is a card I made using the sentiment World's Greatest Mom:
For this "Mom" sentiment, I turned to the Family Reunion stamp set (Clear 122712, Wood 122710), which is on the retired list this year. And I absolutely LOVE this stamp set so grab it while you can before it's gone!! Oh and since my mom loves flowers, I had to add some flowers from the 5/8" Flower Trim (126869 ).
I also used another one of my faves: the "World's Greatest Wood-Mount Stamp Set (126270 ), which is also on the retired list so grab that one, too!! And don't you just love framelits? I do! I used the Labels Collection Framelits (125598) and I love how they look when they are layered.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!!

Congratulations card

Hey everyone! Here is a card that I made for my friend. She celebrated her 5-year anniversary at work a few weeks ago and I wanted to let her know how much we appreciate her. She is a rock star!!
I just love how curly this congratulations sentiment looks. Isn't it so cute?
And the flower trim is so fun to play with and so is the ruffled ribbon. And the Every Day Enchantment DSP which you can still find in the clearance rack.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!

thank you card

Hello! Here is a thank you card for you guys today. My husband's aunt is so sweet. She always remembers to send a card for special occasions. A birthday card came in the mail awhile back and my hubby is so cute because he asked me to make a thank you card so that he could send it to her.
I just love this DSP. Such pretty colors and fun patterns. And I had to use some designer buttons and baker's twine to add some embellishments to the card.
And of course, I added a banner. hehe. But this time, I did something a little different and made the top half plain so that I could stamp the "thank you" sentiment and used DSP for the bottom half of the sentiment.
Have a great day everyone and thanks for stopping by!

BDay Banner

Hi! Today I'd like to share the birthday banner that I made for a friend. I wasn't able to sneak in before she got into the office, so we tied it up while she was sitting at her desk. Surprise! But even though we weren't able to tie it up early in the morning, she was still very surprised that we even had a banner for her. She's such a rock star! Of course we were going to do something for her birthday!!
I just love how the Just Add Cake DSP (124339) looks. Love the colors and patterns! And you can find it in the clearance rack which is even better!!
And I created all these banner pieces using the Big Shot (113439), the 3 Inch Circle Originals Die (122125), the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die (114507), the Perfect Polka Dots folder (117335) and the Stripes folder (123128).
Oh and last minute, I added an itty bitty flower on each banner piece using one of the punches from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack (118309).
And we strung up the banner using some pretty Daffodil Delight 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon (126872).
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Happy Birthday banners card

Hey everyone! Happy Friday :) Here is a birthday card for you guys today. I'm giving this card to my friend whose birthday is today! A few of us got together and we are bringing stuff into the office to decorate her cube. Someone is bringing flowers; someone is bringing a card that the group will sign and I'm bringing the birthday banner. Stay tuned for that one!
The 'happy birthday' sentiment is from the Wishes Your Way stamp set (Clear129156, Wood 129153).
I used some Just Add Cake Designer Series Paper (124339) to make these banners. Have I mentioned that banners are so cool? hehe. I also used some Daffodil Delight card stock (119683) to make the colors on the banners pop a bit.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day :)

Birthday Card

Hello! My husband's childhood buddy celebrated his birthday this weekend and we were able to spend some time with him.
With the 1-1/4" Square Punch (119865) and the1-3/8" Square Punch (119877) making it on the retired list, I knew I wanted to use them for this card. And if these punches are still on your wish list, this is the perfect time to get them because the retiring accessories are only available while supplies last!
To add some texture to the card, I used the Houndstooth embossing folder (123134) and added some Naturals Designer Buttons (127554). I also used some Early Espresso Baker's Twine (123124).
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Petite Purse

Hello everyone! Today I'd like to share a project that the ladies got to make in my March stamping class. I mixed this class up a bit with several cards and a couple 3-D projects. This 3-D project was a hit and was so fun and easy to make!
I used the Petite Purse Bigz L die (125606) and cut out several pieces using some Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper (126154), which you can find in the Clearance Rack. Click here to check it out and click here to check out all the other great deals.
After putting the purse together, we used the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309) and a Rhinestone Basic Jewel (119246) to add an embellishment on the flap of the purse. Wouldn't these purses make such adorable party favors?!?!
There were several different purses all around since they got to choose which side of the DSP they wanted the purse to be.
Stay tuned for all the other projects from last month's class :)

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Feeling Sentimental project

Hi!! This is another card from Stamp Camp :) My friend and fellow demo Sarah demo-ed this card. This card has a ton of elements that I love. There's a banner, ribbon, sponging and those oh so cute flowers from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309). I'm telling you, that punch set is a must have!
The stamp image and sentiment are from the feeling sentimental Stamp Set (Clear 129630, Wood 129627). I love the look of this stamp set because of the vintage feel. And don't forget, you can get this stamp set for free during SAB :)
And another great item that you can get during Sale-a-Bration for FREE is the
Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper (127540). I love all the colors and the different paper patterns.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!

Easter Wishes project

Hey everyone! This card was demo-ed by my friend and fellow demo Alyssa at Stamp Camp. She's fabulous. Isn't this card super pretty? I love the colors the pretty flower and of course the butterflies :)
Here's another shot of the card front. I like how this card layers the ovals, making the Very Vanilla with the stamped image and sentiment pop.
And there goes those lovely butterfly punches - Elegant Butterfly punch and Mini Butterfly punch. Both are a must have and of course, I have them :) hehe.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day :)

Happy Birthday

Hello everyone! Happy Friday! Here is a birthday card for my friend Patricia. She is celebrating her birthday this weekend and I wanted to pass this card around to the gals at work so that they could wish her a very special happy day :)

I used some Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper (126154). I still really like this DSP and the great thing about it is that you can still grab some for yourself in the Clearance Rack! Click here to check out all the great deals!
I also used a ton of Pearl Basic Jewels (119247). It was fun placing them on the ribbon and also on the little flowers. Yup, there goes that punch again! I do love the little flower punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309). It really is an SU staple for me.

For the sentiments, I went with the Create a Cupcake stamp set (Clear 121982, Wood 121915). I hardly ever stamp a sentiment on the inside of the card and I was glad that I grabbed this set because of the different birthday phrases.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day :)

Happy Birthday

Hello everyone! Here is a birthday card that I made over the weekend to add to my "cards on hand" stash. I'm seriously running low and I need to make more cards to stock up again. I also keep some cards at work just in case someone needs one :) You never know, right? Plus, my friends at work are always so sweet to check with me before running to the store to buy a card.
I used the Argyle folder (127750) and went with Island Indigo (122923) for the main color. I really do love that color! I guess because blue is my favorite color. hehe. And I had some fun tearing the edges of this pieces of Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper (127540).
The "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" sentiment is from the Delightful Dozen stamp set (Clear 122652, Wood 122650). There is actually more to this stamped image but I only wanted to stamp the words Happy Birthday. To do that, I used the Island Indigo Stampin' Write Marker (123002) to ink in just the words I wanted.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day :)
