Wish Big

Hi! So, my friend who celebrated her birthday last week tried to be sneaky and not tell anyone! That does not work with our group of gals at work!! She so tried to sneak in with balloons and a lovely flower cake that was delivered to her but I caught her trying to sneak by as I was walking out of my cube, silly girl! Oh, if you missed the flower cake that I posted yesterday, click here to check it out. It's super adorable!! But anyhoo, since she tried to be all covert about her birthday, her birthday card was a day late.
I love glimmer paper and I just had to use some for this cupcake that I made for her card.
The "wish BIG" sentiment is from the Word Play stamp set (Clear 120651, Wood 120308) and I used a couple of the layered dies from the Labels Collection Framelits (125598).
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day :)

18th Birthday

Hello! Here is a birthday card for you guys today. I had some fun making this one :) My friend asked me to make a special card for her cousin's 18th birthday but I totally forgot to give it to her before the birthday party. I felt so bad! But hopefully she's able to send it in the mail.
I used the Framed Tulips Folder (121809) to add a textured boarder around the card. The 18 was cut out using some Silver Glimmer paper (124005) and the Typeset Alphabet Bigz dies (127553). I also used my go-to flower punch from the  Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309) and I added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels (119246) to each flower.
The butterflies were punched out using the Elegant Butterfly punch (127526) and the Bitty Butterfly punch (129406). I then added one of the Large Rhinestone Basic Jewels (129324).
The flower in the middle of the card was made with the Fun Flowers Bigz L die (121812). The flower was placed in a window that was made with one of the dies from the Labels Collection Framelits (125598) and a silver glimmer paper bitty butterfly was added to one of the petals of the flower.
For the rosettes that I added on the card, I used some of the 5/8" Flower Trim. I simply cut each flower individually then added some Wisteria Wonder color to the tips of the flowers.
On the inside of the card, I added an elegant butterfly and the "Warmest Wishes on your birthday" sentiment is from the Blooming with Kindness stamp set (Clear 126422, Wood 126420).

I hope the birthday girl enjoyed celebrating her special day!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day :)

1st Birthday

Hello everyone! Here's a card that I made using my Cricut.
For the colors, I used Real Red (102482), Basic Black (121045) and Whisper White (100730). I also blinged it up and used some Red Glimmer Paper (121790).

To add some texture and shapes to the card, I used the Perfect Polka Dots Folder (117335) and the 2-1/2" Circle punch (120906). Since the birthday girl is celebrating her first birthday, I used the Typeset Alphabet Bigz dies (127553) to cut out a number 1 with some of that pretty sparkly glimmer paper :)
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

NOTE: I am not a Stampin' Up! or Cricut Representative and this was created for personal purposes.

Merry Christmas

Hello, here is another Christmas card that I made this year. I used a similar layout that I used for another Christmas card that I made for my friend and manager Catherine. Click here to check it out.
I had some extra DSP from the Holiday Soiree card that I demo'd at Stamp Camp so I decided to use some from the Festival Of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack (126904). Click here to check out the stamp camp card.
I also used some Champagne Glimmer Paper (127885). And some Cherry Cobbler 3-1/2" Scalloped Tulle Ribbon (127841). I love this stuff and have to really learn to not hoard it all! hahaha.
Since there are so many different patterns in the DSP paper stack, I used a different one for each card. All of the patterns are so cute!
I even stamped a nice little Christmas message on the inside of the card. It's from a retired SU stamp set, but I still like the message and wanted to use it.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day :)

Merry Christmas card for Catherine

Hello! Here is the Christmas card that I made for Catherine. My team at work wanted to give her a card to go along with her gifts. She has been such an amazing manager and we wanted to give her a little something to thank her for all the hard work that she has done for our team.
I wish I had a better picture but I totally dropped the ball and forgot to take a picture when I was done with the card. Anyhoo, back to the card. So, I did want to use some of that Cherry Cobbler 3-1/2" Scalloped Tulle Ribbon (127841) that I've been hoarding since I bought it when the Holiday catalog launched! hehehe. And check out the Early Espresso Core'dinations Colorcore Card Stock (127848). Gotta love how it looks when you emboss it then use the Stampin’ Sanding Block (129367).

Thanks for stopping by and have a very Merry Christmas Eve!!!!
