Thank You

Hello! And Happy Friday :) So, don't know about you guys, but as soon as the new Stampin' Up! 2013-2014 catalog went live, I just HAD to place my first order and yay that lovely UPS guy came by yesterday to drop off a box of new and fun goodies :D They were floating around the top of my new Wish List so, I got the new 2013-2015 In Colors - baked brown sugar, strawberry slush, crisp cantaloupe, pistachio pudding, coastal cabana - and when my husband asked me to make him a thank you card for his manager, I knew I wanted to try them out.
OK, so I must admit, I am a HUGE fan of Stampin' Up! punches and when I saw this punch, it was a must have for me. The new Pansy punch (130698) is so cute and of course, I had to get the coordinating stamp set. Stay tuned for a project using the Flower Shop stamp set (Clear 130942, Wood 130939). And another thing that I love about SU is their bundles! So, if you like the punch and the stamp set, you can get them both at a 15% discount by ordering the Flower Shop bundle (Clear 132726, Wood 132727).
Oh and check out some of the new ribbon! I used some Pistachio Pudding 3/8" Ruffle Stretch Trim (130020). This new ribbon is so pretty! I can't wait to use them on other projects. And I do like the new Very Vintage Designer Buttons (129327) so I added a few to the Pansy flowers. The "Thank You" sentiment is from the Four You stamp set (Clear 130538, Wood 130535).
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your Friday :)

NOTE: I am not a Stampin' Up! Representative and this was created for personal purposes.

Manicure in a Jar

Hello everyone and Happy Friday!! I have a super cute gift to show you today. My friend Chan is outta hand! She's amazing. She not only sends birthday cards, anniversary cards and even sympathy cards (which are hard to make but always appreciated when received) but she also gives little favors to her friends! Like this Manicure in a jar that she gave us demos at Stamp Camp. And did I mention SHE was one of the Demos at stamp camp and she made this for the rest of us gals?!?! She's so sweet :)
I love the tag that she added to the jar. Love framelits and love butterflies :) Super cute.
And these are all of the goodies that we found inside. See why I say she's outta hand!?! hehehe. She's super awesome!
Thank you so much Chan! {{hugs}}
Oh and hop on over to Two Rosie Cheeks to check out all of her amazing projects :)
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful Friday!!

Soda Pop Tops

Hey everyone! After flipping through the new SU Spring Catalog, I knew that these Soda Pop Tops would definitely make it on to my Wish List. Here is my first attempt at using these fun embellishments on a card. And for those who know me, using embellishments are kinda sorta hard for me because I tend to hoard them a bit. hehe.
I also used some new DSP that I absolutely love! It's a little sneak peek for you guys so come back and visit to see how you get your little hands on some. And check out the pretty ribbon. Another sneak peek item :)
I used the Collage Curios stamp set (Clear 129102, Wood 129099) to fill the large soda pop top and punched out DSP to fill the smaller soda pop tops and layered them on top of card stock punched out with the new 7/8" Scallop Circle punch (129404).
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Felt Flowers Wreath

Hello! I know that I've shared a TON of wreaths lately, but I have to share another one with you guys. This wreath was made by my friend Juliana. Isn't it oh so adorable?!?! The red and white striped ribbon is so cute and those felt flowers are awesome!!
Here are some close up shots of those felt flowers. I really need to learn how to make those! They look like so much fun, don't they?

You should hop on over to studio julz to check out some of Juliana's other creative projects. She's a very crafty gal :)

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your week!!

Lovely Ribbon Wreaths

Happy Friday everyone! Here are a couple more wreaths for you today. Lynne and Charlene did such a wonderful job on these lovely ribbon wreaths. The burgundy and gold wreath is Lynne's and when she busted out the fabric she used to wrap the wreath, we were all shocked that she was ripping it apart because it was so pretty! But look at her wreath... so worth it :)
And here is Charlene's wreath. Love how the ribbon swirls all around the wreath. And the stripes on the ribbon is a pretty pattern to add to the swirly affect. She also wrapped the wreath in burlap. I have several yards of burlap just sitting around, waiting to become a part of a project. Maybe I should try something out this weekend.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day :)

Red Ribbon Wreath

Hello everyone! Here is the wreath that my friend Jenevene made. I sorta helped out with the vision of the wreath but she took it to a whole new level :) That girl can be pretty creative when she wants to be ;) hehe. At first, she just wanted to watch or have someone make a wreath for her, but when I showed her what to do, she totally rolled with it!
She wrapped the entire wreath with that pretty glittery red ribbon. Then I helped by adding some fresh leaves from the pile that Charlene brought from an actual Christmas tree, which made the wreath smell so nice! After, I showed Jenevene how to adhere the leaves to the wreath then suggested to put a bow in the middle and she totally went to town with the bow! So pretty :)
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

For Jenevene

Happy Birthday Jenevene!

Hey everyone! Here is a card that I made for a friend at work. Today is her special day :) I decided to go with different blues and surprise, surprise - butterflies! hehe. I love butterflies, but it's also a work thing so I had to add them to her birthday card ;)

I love the new Elegant Butterfly punch (127526) and I practically use it on everything!  I layered each butterfly on top of a scallop circle that I punched out using the 1-3/4" Scallop Circle punch (119854). And on the butterfly, I added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels (119246) on the mini scallop circle that's included in the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309). All girls love a little bling, right? ;)

And I added some Midnight Muse 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon (126847) because I felt like it needed a little extra something. The 'happy birthday' sentiment is from the Family Reunion stamp set (Clear 122712, Wood 122710). I was going to try and use the word window punch or the modern label punch but decided to go with snipping the ends to create a banner. I'm such a big fan of banners :)

Speaking of banners, stay tuned for the Birthday Banner that I made for the birthday girl :) I hope she likes her banner and her card!! And I hope all her birthday wishes come true!!

I also wanted to wish my Lola a very happy birthday. Wherever she is, I hope she knows that we love her and we are always thinking of her. We miss her every day and we are very blessed and thankful for all of the years that we were able to spend with her.

Thanks everyone for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

For Suzie Q

Happy Birthday Suzanne!!

Hello everyone and happy Friday! Today is a special day because it's my friend Suzanne's birthday :) We have a lot going on at work today with a baby shower so we still need to take her out to celebrate. Hopefully we can take her out next week for lunch. So, last night in Niki's class, we got to make a stack of cards - one to keep and one to give away. Which worked out perfectly because I wanted to make a birthday card for Suz. Here is the card that I'm giving her today.

There is some labor of love with this card with all the piercing going on. I got to play with several new products. For this card, we used the new Paper-Piercing Tool (126189), the new Stampin’ Pierce Mat (126199) and the new Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack (126187). I must admit, I was a little intimidated by this card and wasn't sure if I wanted to do the piercing technique, but I'm glad that I did!

And I think I need to get this stamp set ;) I really like this "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" from the new You’re Amazing stamp set (Clear 126722, Wood 126720). And there's also a really cute hot air balloon included in this stamp set. So cute!!

With all the fun stuff that's going on with this card, we even got to use some of that pretty Primrose Petals 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon (126844). And remember, for the month of September, with every $40 that you spend on a Stampin' Up! order, you get to choose one of the 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon for FREE! Click here for more information or you can email me with an order if you like :)

Have a wonderful Friday and thank for stopping by!
