Amazing You

Hey everyone! I have a CAS card for you guys today. I love clean and simple cards, especially if I get to use the big shot and punches! hehe. I just love the Big Shot (113439) and ALL of the SU punches. No, I'm not too obsessed, just a huge fan ;)
And what's awesome about these embossing folder and punch is that they coordinate!!!! It's like Stampin' Up! was reading my mind! Well, they probably read most of our minds because if you're like me, I've been a little spoiled by punching or big shot-ing shapes out instead of grabbing my scissors ;)
For this card, I used the new Mosaic punch (131267) and the new Modern Mosaic embossing folder (129984). So much fun and so easy!! Just emboss some card stock then punch out some DSP and you're all set!!
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend :)

NOTE: I am not a Stampin' Up! Representative and this was created for personal purposes.

Hello

Hey everyone! Here is one of the cards that we got to make in Niki's Photopolymer class. Along with hanging out with the girls, which is one of my favorite things to do during the week, another fave is trying out stamp sets before buying them! And I must admit, this stamp set has made it on my wish list :)
The Designer Typeset Photopolymer Stamp Set (132956) is definitely a must have! Use this exclusive photopolymer alphabet set (with extras!) for titles or embellishments on scrapbook pages, cards, or any type of project. SU's photopolymer stamps offer a versatile all-clear stamping option. You’ll find that SU's photopolymer is top-quality and give a perfectly stamped image every time. The stamps stick amazingly well to Stampin' Up! clear blocks and are easy to place just where you want them. And best of all, you get to enjoy tons of images for a great price!
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day :)

Just Because

Hi everyone! Happy Friday :) Here is another card that I made just for fun. I don't have many "for any occasion" cards on hand so I decided to make this card using one of my favorite new Designer Series Paper. I am really loving the Tea for Two Designer Series Paper (129311). You can find it in the Spring Catalog. You should check it out to see all the lovely patterns :)
I used the 2-1/2" Circle punch (120906) to create a window for the sentiment. The sentiment "Just because" is from the Vintage Verses Stamp Set (129633). With the four different sentiments, this is a pretty fun stamp set to have. Check out the SAB catalog to see the other sentiments in this stamp set.
I also added some little flowers inside the circle window around the sentiment using the mini flower punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309). I love this punch pack and I use them all the time!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great Friday :)

Bloomin' Marvelous

Hello! Here is another card with flowers and butterflies. I love using the Blossom punch (125603) to add pretty flowers on cards and projects. I wanted something a little bright so I used Summer Starfruit card stock (126839) and Calypso Coral card stock (122925) for the main colors of this card. I also used the Framed Tulips Folder (121809) to add a pretty little border around the card.
I also used some of the Rich Razzleberry buttons from the Sycamore Street Ribbon & Button Pack (130812), which you can earn for free during Sale-a-bration! And the butterfly stamp is from another SAB item - the bloomin’ marvelous Stamp Set (129651). And what's great about that stamped image is that you can punch it out with the new Bitty Butterfly punch (129406) from the Spring Catalog! I love how Stampin' Up! coordinates some of their stamps with their punches :)
The "bloomin' marvelous" sentiment is from the same stamp set as the butterfly stamp. If you like those buttons or the stamps, simply place a $50 order (before tax and shipping) and one of these SAB items mentioned today can be yours for FREE! How fun is that?!?!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day :)

Oh Happy Day!

Hey everyone! Today, I'd like to share another clean and simple card that I made over the weekend. I went with blues for this one - Island Indigo and Pool Party. I love those colors :) I also used one of the folders from the Delicate Designs Folders set (127023).
I also used the 'oh happy day!' stamp from the Bloomin’ Marvelous Stamp Set (129651). And remember guys, during Sale-a-bration, you can earn this stamp set or any other SAB item for free with every $50 (before shipping and tax) order.
Not sure if you can see from the angle in this picture, but behind each Elegant Butterfly (127526) there's some Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper (127540) peeking through. I also added the Pool Party buttons from the Sycamore Street Ribbon & Button Pack (130812) to each butterfly.
Happy President's Day!
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day :)

A Banner Card

Hello! OK, so I am a HUGE fan of the Tea for Two Designer Series Paper (129311). I just love the color combination and various patterns on each sheet. There wasn't a special occasion for this card, but I wanted to play with the paper and make something. So, I made a clean and simple card with some fun banners :)
I was inspired to make this type of banner from one of the cute little note cards that we got to make in Niki's Little Lovies class. Click here and here to check out the different note cards from class. And click here to check out what her next class is all about.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!

Any Occasion

Happy Friday everyone! Here is a quick clean and simple card that I made for any occasion. I love Sale-a-bration time! The SAB Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper (127540) is so much fun! I'm loving the colors and the patterns.
And look at these cute buttons that you get from the Sycamore Street Ribbon & Button Pack (130812). There are three different colors that you can play with, too - Pool Party, Rich Razzleberry, and Tangerine Tango. And there are three spools of ribbon, too - 1 Island Indigo, 1 Pool Party, and 1 Tangerine Tango.
To go with the pattern that I chose, I decided to use the Honeycomb Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (129378). And for fun, I stamped a bunch of flowers from the Bloomin’ Marvelous Stamp Set (129651). Then I added a few butterflies using the new Bitty Butterfly Punch (129406).
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful Friday :)

Oh Happy Day!

Hey everyone! Here is another card from this month's class. We got to play with some Sale-a-bration items. And remember, you can earn Sale-a-bration items for FREE :)
Here is the Blossom Punch (125603) and we added one of the Sale-a-bration buttons from the sycamore street Ribbon & Button Pack (130812). And look at that pretty DSP - sycamore street Designer Series Paper (127540). It's one of my faves right now.
The 'oh happy day!' sentiment is from the bloomin’ marvelous Stamp Set (Clear 129654, Wood 129651), which is also from the Sale-a-bration catalog. Click here to check out the rest of items that you can earn for free.

You're Such an Amazing Friend

Hello! Here is one of the cards that the ladies got to make in my Spring Catalog class. I wanted to make some clean and simple cards that would showcase some of the new items from the new Stampin' Up! Spring Catalog. Hope the ladies liked them! They got to make 6 cards and I'll be sharing them with you this week.
I've had my Whisper White Craft Pad (101731) for some time now and I was inspired by one of the cards from the Spring Catalog. I love flipping through SU catalogs to get ideas and inspiration.
And I really like the Amazing Family stamp set (Clear 129192, Wood 129189). You can show a friend, mother, brother, father and sister how amazing they are with this stamp set!
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day :)

Soda Pop Tops

Hey everyone! After flipping through the new SU Spring Catalog, I knew that these Soda Pop Tops would definitely make it on to my Wish List. Here is my first attempt at using these fun embellishments on a card. And for those who know me, using embellishments are kinda sorta hard for me because I tend to hoard them a bit. hehe.
I also used some new DSP that I absolutely love! It's a little sneak peek for you guys so come back and visit to see how you get your little hands on some. And check out the pretty ribbon. Another sneak peek item :)
I used the Collage Curios stamp set (Clear 129102, Wood 129099) to fill the large soda pop top and punched out DSP to fill the smaller soda pop tops and layered them on top of card stock punched out with the new 7/8" Scallop Circle punch (129404).
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Dude, You're Welcome

Hello! So, this is for all the dudes out there who don't get crafty but would like to do something special for their special someone who is crafty. Stampin' Up! has created this just for you guys.
As a guy, it’s not always easy to express yourself. You know you want to say it, but you just don’t know how. That’s why we’ve created the Dude, You’re Welcome! Kit. Quickly build a card that says just what you want it to say, whether it’s “#%&@!” because you messed up (when does that happen?), for a Special Occasion (you know the occasion), “I _____ You” (love, adore, miss, see?), or a simple “Thank You.”

We’ve got your back. Dude, you’re welcome.

Kit includes:

* Four wood-mount stamps (double-mounted) with the perfect sentiment for every occasion
* Twelve 4" x 6" postcards in four different (manly) colors
* Twelve gray envelopes
* A Basic Gray Classic Stampin’ Pad
* An instructional guide (for the most novice stamper!)

Click here to get your set today. Or click on the video below to see what it's all about.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!

Your Kindness means so much

Hey everyone! Today, I'd like to share a card that we got to make awhile back in one of Niki's Thursday night classes. I've been wanting to share this card with you guys for awhile and I'm glad that I came across it recently because it was a fun one to make.
We got to use the Stampin' Write markers to color in the image of the Tweet Leaves stamp (128111). If you like this stamp, click here to check out the SU Holiday Catalog and order yours soon :) We also used the Woodgrain folder (127821), which you can also find in the holiday catalog.
We also got to add a Brushed Bronze Designer Button (127833) and tied it on the card with some Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine (125572).
The 'Your Kindness means so much' sentiment is from the From My Heart stamp set (Clear 126557, Wood 126555), which is another great stamp set to own since one of the images coordinates with one of the framelits. And you know me, I love anything that has to do with the Big Shot :)

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!!

Blooming with Kindness

Hi! Here are the cards that we got to make in Niki's Blooming with Kindness class back in November. We got to make 6 cards, 2 of each color and we got to change up the embossing folders that we used on each card.
These cards are clean and simple and fun to make. And isn't that such a pretty flower? I bought the Blooming With Kindness stamp set (Clear 126422, Wood 126420) awhile back and I was excited when I heard that we would be using this stamp set in class :)
I left the area for the sentiment blank so that I could add one when I needed a card for a certain occasion.
To see what these cards look like with a sentiment, hop on over to Niki's blog at stampinwithniki to check them out.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!

CAS Moving Forward

Hi and hello! So, most of you know that I love Stampin' Up! and their products, but I also love how SU gives back to the community. In each Annual catalog, there is special stamp set that you can purchase and part of the proceeds are donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities®. Ronald McDonald House Charities help support families with children who have serious illnesses. The Moving Forward stamp set (Clear 126322, Wood 126320) is this year's special stamp set in the 2012-2013 Annual Catalog. Here is a card that a made with the stamp set:
For this card, I went clean and simple. And I went with one of my fave in-colors collection - Island Indigo, Pool Party, Coral Calypso, Lucky Limeade and Wisteria Wonder (124329). I also got to use my Stampin' Write markers (123002) to color in the stamped image. I also played with several label sizes from the Labels Collection Framelits (125598).
Help SU make a difference. Stampin’ Up! donates time and money to support Ronald McDonald House Charities. Purchase this year’s exclusive RMHC® stamp set and SU will donate $3 to RMHC. With the help of SU customers, they have contributed over $1,000,000 to RMHC. Learn more ways to help: visit www.stampinup.com/giving.

Envelope Scrapbook

Hey everyone! Happy Labor Day :)

Today, I'd like to share the third project that the ladies got to make in last month's class. I learned how to make this in one of Niki's classes awhile back. The one that I got to make in her class used the Twitterpated DSP (125406). Click here to check it out. For my class, we used the Summer Smooches DSP (125409).

Here it is with the band removed. It slides on and off easily so that you can share those lovely pictures with friends and family :)

This is what it looks like on the inside. The ladies got to choose from their favorite patterns of the Summer Smooches DSP so each one was unique and different. Each tab has room for a picture on the front and back.

I also added a little decorative space using one of the frames from the Labels Collection Framelits (1255980) so they can write something special in their envelope scrapbook. And I used the Scallop Envelope Bigz die (113462) to add a little envelope so that they can add a little note later on.

One of the ladies even took out a picture from her wallet to add it to her envelope scrapbook after she finished making it! hehe. I can't wait to check out some of these envelope scrapbooks with pictures in them!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your Monday :) Be safe out there while celebrating Labor Day!

Thinking of you

Hey everyone! Happy Friday :) In this month's class, the ladies got to make three different types of projects. They got to make a card, the hybrid MDS2 frame that I shared with you earlier this week (click here if you'd like to check it out) and a scrapbook envelope that I will share with you soon, so stay tuned! Here is the card.

This clean and simple card was inspired by the birthday card that I made for my cousin last week. Click here to check it out. In class, we got to play with the new Papillon Potpourri stamp set (Clear 123759, Wood 123757) and the new Elegant Butterfly punch (127526). And for the colors, we used Very Vanilla, Midnight Muse, Primrose Petal and Raspberry Ripple. I am really liking the new 2012–2014 In Colors :)

And I just LOVE how SU has products that coordinate so well together! I love when you can grab a stamp set, stamp an image then grab the matching punch to cut out the image like we did with these butterflies on this card. Then we used dimensionals to pop them up and added a little bling to each of them for a little extra something.

And for the sentiment, 'thinking of you', I grabbed my trusty Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set (Clear 127802, Wood 115370). Gotta love that stamp set for all the sentiments. There are 24 of them! And it's now available in Clear mount, not just Wood mount :)

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful Friday!!!!

MDS2 frame

Hello! I just love MDS2! There are so many possibilities and so many projects that you can make. For class this month, I decided to have a hybrid project for the ladies to work on. And it was so easy! I took this template that I already had and tweaked it a bit. I changed up the colors, moved around the embellishments a bit and added those lovely butterflies in the upper left :)

I then just printed out the project and had the ladies slide it into a simple stand alone frame. Of course, I had to use the Big Shot to add a little extra something to the project :)

And one of the awesome features of MDS2 is that most of the images and punches are real size! To add those butterflies in the upper corner, I cut them out using the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz die (114507) and then I added a Large Pearl Basic Jewel (125577).

I told the ladies in class that they can add some pictures to this frame, too. I kept those little squares in the template but added a little color as place holders.

Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by!!
