happy birthday

Hello! Here is a birthday card that I made:
I used a Tea Lace Paper Doily (129399) and we cut out a dress using the Dress Up. Then we used the Perfect Polka Dots Folder (117335) and added one of the flowers from the Vanilla 5/8" Flower Trim (126869).
The "happy birthday" sentiment is from the Wishes Your Way stamp set (Clear 129156, Wood 129153). And scattered some small flowers using the Itty Butty Shapes Punch Pack (118309) then added some Pearl Basic Jewels (119247).
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day :)

best wishes

Hello everyone! Here is another clean and simple card for you guys today. I love the look of this card and it's another CASE from our demo magazine. I'm glad that the ladies in class liked the card too. Super cute and super quick and easy to make :)
The "best wishes" sentiment is from the Wishes Your Way stamp set (Clear 129156, Wood 129153). And you can find it in the Spring catalog. And to add a little border to the card, we used the Framed Tulips Folder (121809).
To get this lovely look on the butterfly, we used the En Français background stamp (109521) and the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz die (114507). And we also added a small flower using the Itty Bitty Punch Pack (118309). For a little bling, we added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel (119246).
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day :)

Birthday Card

Hello! My husband's childhood buddy celebrated his birthday this weekend and we were able to spend some time with him.
With the 1-1/4" Square Punch (119865) and the1-3/8" Square Punch (119877) making it on the retired list, I knew I wanted to use them for this card. And if these punches are still on your wish list, this is the perfect time to get them because the retiring accessories are only available while supplies last!
To add some texture to the card, I used the Houndstooth embossing folder (123134) and added some Naturals Designer Buttons (127554). I also used some Early Espresso Baker's Twine (123124).
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Thanks so much

Hello everyone and happy Friday :) Here is another card from this month's stamping class. Another clean and simple one for you guys and another CASE from our SU Demo magazine. I really like getting ideas from that magazine :)
To add some texture, we used the Stripes embossing folder and to get that oval shape, we used one of the oval framelits and the stamped image just popped on through!
Of course, I had to use the Bitty Butterfly punch and that ever so handy tiny flower punch from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack :) I love these punches!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great Friday! Enjoy your weekend :)

Thank U

Hello! Here is another card that we got to make in my stamping class last month. This was a CASE from a magazine that we SU demos get. I love flipping through that magazine to get inspiration and project ideas. I did change this card up a bit but I do like how it turned out.
To add some texture to the card, we used the Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (127821). And used the 1-3/4" Scallop Circle punch (119854) to add some dimension behind the sentiment.
The "Thank U" sentiment is from the A Round Array stamp set (Clear 129090). And what's great about this stamp set is that there is a coordinating punch! The 7/8" Scallop Circle Punch. And what's even better is that this set comes in a bundle - the Spring Surprise Bundle (Clear 133899)! I love when SU creates product that coordinate :)
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Babies fill your heart with happy

Hello! Today I'd like to share another card from my monthly stamping class. This is a card for any occasion for babies and the ladies now have a card for any such occasion on hand. I was excited to use a background stamp and new I just had to use the Distressed Dots background stamp (122815). I love the look of it :)
To add some texture to the card we used the little hearts folder from the Adorning Accents Folders (125601) which I thought would be really cute with this card. To get all the ovals, we used one of the framelits from the Ovals Collection Framelits Dies and the Extra-Large Oval punch (119859). Oh and we also used the oval folder from the Designer Frames Folders (123130).
The "babies fill your heart with happy" stamp is from the Cuddles & Kisses stamp set (Clear 127314, Wood 127312). We also used the Small Heart punch (117193) and added a Large Rhinestone Basic Jewel (129324).
Enjoy the rest of your day and thanks for stopping by!

Congratulations

Hello everyone. Over the weekend was my monthly stamping class and I'll be sharing the cards that the ladies got to make for the next several days. I went with clean and simple for all the cards and this is the first one I want to share with all of you today.
We used the Blossom punch (125603) and crumpled it up to create the look of this flower. The "congratulations" stamp is from the Cuddles & Kisses stamp set (Clear 127314, Wood 127312).
And the flowers and leaves are from the Betsy’s Blossoms stamp set (Clear 126006, Wood 126004). I also went with a few of the 2011-2013 In Colors. I love Calypso Coral, Island Indigo and Lucky Limeade :)

Make a Wish Come True

Hello! Here is another card from Niki's Photopolymer class. I love banners and here is another fun way to create ones for cards and projects. We stamped on DSP then cut them out and adhered them on like this.
Oh and before I continue... I wanted to say....
Happy Birthday Auntie Cely!!
Today is her special day and we will be celebrating with her pretty soon so I wanted to save her card for later. Stay tuned for that one!
The "make a wish come true" sentiment is from the Make a Wish stamp set (Clear 129222, Wood 129219). I like how a candle is incorporated within "wish". So cute! hehe.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day:)

Thinking of You

Hello everyone. Here is a card that I made for a friend at work. She recently lost someone close to her and her family and I wanted to give her a card to let her know that I was thinking of her and that she and her family were also in my heart and my prayers during this difficult time.
I went clean and simple with this card. I went with stamps from the Everything Eleanor stamp set (Clear 124164, Wood 124162). I love all the stamps in this stamp set. You can use them for any occasion that calls for some flowers and swirly-ness.
I also used some Wisteria Wonder 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon (122973) and added some little flowers using the itty bitty flower from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309). I also added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels (119246).
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

Congratulations Banners

Hi! This card was another card made using one of SU's photopolymer stamps in Niki's Thursday night class. Oh and in case you didn't know, I'm a huge fan of banners and what's so cool about this stamp is that you can move it around!
The banner stamp looks like this when you get the set....
But look what you can do!! You can bend it to make these lovely banners :) Pretty cool, huh?!?!
Thanks for stopping by and have a nice day :)

Hello

Hey everyone! Here is one of the cards that we got to make in Niki's Photopolymer class. Along with hanging out with the girls, which is one of my favorite things to do during the week, another fave is trying out stamp sets before buying them! And I must admit, this stamp set has made it on my wish list :)
The Designer Typeset Photopolymer Stamp Set (132956) is definitely a must have! Use this exclusive photopolymer alphabet set (with extras!) for titles or embellishments on scrapbook pages, cards, or any type of project. SU's photopolymer stamps offer a versatile all-clear stamping option. You’ll find that SU's photopolymer is top-quality and give a perfectly stamped image every time. The stamps stick amazingly well to Stampin' Up! clear blocks and are easy to place just where you want them. And best of all, you get to enjoy tons of images for a great price!
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day :)

All Dressed Up Birthday

Hello everyone! Here is the birthday card that I made for my friend Marita. I just got the All Dressed Up Bundle (Clear 131095, Wood 131096) and knew that I wanted to use it to make her card. I've also seen these dresses all over the blog-iverse and I couldn't wait to play around with it. hehe.
I also got to use the En Français background stamp (109521), which is one of my faves! To make the dress form and dress, I used the Dress Up Framelits Dies (130101) and some of the lovely Tea for Two Designer Series Paper (129311). After putting the dress on top of the dress form, I added some Calypso Coral 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon (122976) and a trimmed up flower from the Vanilla 5/8" Flower Trim (126869).
Behind the dress form and dress, I added one of the Tea Lace Paper Doilies (129399). To add some texture, I crumpled it up and I also made it a little bit smaller than it's original size. The "happy birthday" sentiment is from the Wishes Your Way stamp set (Clear 129156, Wood 129153).
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day :)

Happy Birthday Cupcake

Hello! Today I'd like to share the last project that we did in my stamping class last month. For one of the projects, I wanted to use some Stampin Write Markers and decided to make this birthday card.
We stamped the Happy Birthday Cupcake sentiment with the cute cupcake image then colored the cupcake in with a few different Stampin Write Markers. I love these markers because you can change up stamped images in so many different ways and still coordinate with SU product.
To add some texture to the card, we used the Perfect Polkadots embossing folder and the Stripes folder for the pieces at the top of the card. And of course, we added some tiny flowers from the Itty Bitty Punch pack.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!

Wish Big

Hello! Here is another card that we got to make in last month's stamping class. I decided to try and use colors that I don't normally use. I actually went outside my box and grabbed some Marina Mist and Cajun Craze, which is not a combo I usually use. I do like how these colors popped on this clean and simple card.
I also used some Parker’s Patterns Designer Series Paper (131021) to tie all the colors together. And to go with the stripes on the DSP, I used the Chevron Folder (127749) to add some texture to the card. I distressed the edges of all the layers using the Stampin’ Distress Tool (127562).
The "wish BIG" sentiment is from the Bring on the Cake stamp set (Clear 121958, Wood121899).
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Get Well Soon

Hello! Happy Saturday everyone! Here is the other 3-D project that we made in my monthly stamping class. This was another hit and the ladies were excited to bring home this oh so cute tissue holder. I was excited to make this card for class, too. Ever since I got this tissue holder from Andrea as one of the swaps from Nicole's AMAZING tea party downline meeting and after seeing my friend Jen demo it at our Spring Sampler stamp camp, I was inspired and knew that I had to CASE them one day :) Click here to check out Andrea's tissue holder and click here to check out Jen's.

Twirly-Whirly Birthday

Hi! Happy Friday everyone!! Today, I have another card that we got to make in my class last month. I went clean and simple with this card because of a fun technique that I taught the ladies. This is a spinner card! hehe. I learned this technique in one of Niki's Thursday night classes. Hop on over to Stampin with Niki to check out all her awesome projects :)
We used the Cloudy Day Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (127022) to add to the background of this spinner card to go with the theme of the stamp set. The sentiment "wishing you a twirly-whirly birthday!" is from the Wishes Your Way stamp set (Clear 129156, Wood 129153).
And the spinner part of the card is this fun pinwheel :) We used the Pinwheel Sizzlits S Die (129411) to cut out this cute pinwheel. Everyone had fun moving the card side to side watching the pinwheel spin and do it's thing. hehehe.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day :)
