Bracelet & Earrings

Hi! Here is the gift that I made for Camille's birthday. I made her a little bracelet and earring set :) Making jewelry is so much fun! And I'd like to thank my friend and upline Nicole for introducing me to this craft. She taught some of us gals the basics of jewelry making. Isn't she awesome? And she's super creative. Click here to check out her creations on the blog that she shares with her sister (she's super creative too!).

Sorry for this pic. I know, too much flash. hehe. but I wanted to try and see if I could get a closer shot of the beads. Aren't beads so pretty?

And there is a touch of SU with this gift set. I used Early Espresso card stock (119686) as the backing for the bracelet and earrings. And to create the holes, I used the new Paper-Piercing Tool (126189) and new Stampin’ Pierce Mat (126199). These two new tools are a must have to put on your wish lists :)

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!

In Color Dahlias

Hello! Here is a gift that my upline Nicole surprised me with when they got back from Convention. Have I mentioned that I so want to go to Convention next year? Especially since it will the 25th anniversary for Stampin' Up! How cool would that be?!?!

These were her roommate gifts. How sweet is that? All the ladies on our team who went made special gifts for each other. Check out Nicole's post about her roommate gifts here. This project so makes me want to bust out my sewing machine.

And look what was inside the cute little draw string bag! A super cute ring and hair pin. I was so excited to find this little surprise in my craft bag :D Nicole is such an awesome upline!

How adorable are the In Color Dahlias (127556)? And even so much cuter on these 3D projects, right?! The Midnight Muse dahlias are one of my faves and I totally wore my hair pin to work the next day. hehe.

Thanks again Nicole!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day :)

Gifts for Mother's Day

Good morning everyone! TGIF :D

This year for Mother's Day, I jumped at the chance to feed my new obsession - Jewelry Making. I am loving every minute when I get to sit down and make some jewelry. For the gals on my team at work, I made them these bracelets. When I made each bracelet, I used beads that reminded me of each one of them :)

I gave this one to Char, which totally matched her outfit that day.

I gave this one to Catherine, which did not match her outfit. hehe.

I gave this one to Patricia, which did match her outfit but she usually wears a lot of pretty bling so she only wore it for a little bit.

And this one was for Marita, and this bracelet also matched her outfit so she wore it that day like Char did :)

I also made bracelets for my mom, for my sister-in-law (which my nephew took credit for haha) and for my mother-in-law. I didn't get to take pictures of those bracelets but since I did get requests for matching earrings, hopefully I'll remember to take pictures of them so that I can share them with you :)

Enjoy your Friday!!!!

Happy Birthday Barbara

Good morning everyone!

Today, I would like to share one of my new obsessions with you .... making jewelry! I am so new to it but I am loving everything about it already! Nicole, my awesome upline is super talented and has held a couple of jewelry making classes. In the first class, we learned how to make earrings! I was so excited about making earrings that I went to the store right away, bought some beads and ended up making over 40 pairs of earrings in one night!! Just a teeny tiny itty bitty little obsessed ;) You, think? hehe.

In our second class, Nicole taught us wire wrapping on a bracelet. She is such a great teacher! She said we would be yelling and saying all these different types of not so nice words, but that so did not happen. hehe. We were all so into concentrating on our wire wrapping and before we knew it, we each had a bracelet to take home! Again, I had to run to the store to buy more beads! So, my sister-in-law's mother's birthday was the other day and I just HAD to make her this bracelet. I hope she likes it!

These pictures don't really show the true color of the beads. I guess it's the lighting, but they are a pretty purple color, which I thought would look pretty on Barbara :) And here is the card that was sent along with her birthday present:

I had fun making her card because I was able to use an embossing folder that I haven't used in awhile! And I also got to use some of that pretty 1/2" seam binding ribbon :)

Here is a list of supplies I used to make the card:

Pretty in Pink Card Stock (100459)
