thank you card

Hello! Here is a thank you card for you guys today. My husband's aunt is so sweet. She always remembers to send a card for special occasions. A birthday card came in the mail awhile back and my hubby is so cute because he asked me to make a thank you card so that he could send it to her.
I just love this DSP. Such pretty colors and fun patterns. And I had to use some designer buttons and baker's twine to add some embellishments to the card.
And of course, I added a banner. hehe. But this time, I did something a little different and made the top half plain so that I could stamp the "thank you" sentiment and used DSP for the bottom half of the sentiment.
Have a great day everyone and thanks for stopping by!

Birthday Card

Hello! My husband's childhood buddy celebrated his birthday this weekend and we were able to spend some time with him.
With the 1-1/4" Square Punch (119865) and the1-3/8" Square Punch (119877) making it on the retired list, I knew I wanted to use them for this card. And if these punches are still on your wish list, this is the perfect time to get them because the retiring accessories are only available while supplies last!
To add some texture to the card, I used the Houndstooth embossing folder (123134) and added some Naturals Designer Buttons (127554). I also used some Early Espresso Baker's Twine (123124).
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

That's the Ticket project

Hello! Here is another Stamp Camp card for you today. My friend and upline Nicole demo-ed this card and isn't it just so super cute!?!? Love the banners, love the tickets and love the embossing folder.
We used the Honeycomb Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (129378) to get that fun texture on the card.
And some must haves that you need to add to your wish list are the That’s the Ticket stamp set (Clear 128075, Wood 128072) and the coordinating Ticket Duo Builder (126883). I say that they are must haves because look at the cute little tickets that you can make!
And look at the fun banners on this card. I am a huge fan of banners. They're just so fun! And isn't that DSP so pretty? It's the Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper (127540) and don't forget, you can earn it for FREE during Sale-a-bration :)
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

A Banner Card

Hello! OK, so I am a HUGE fan of the Tea for Two Designer Series Paper (129311). I just love the color combination and various patterns on each sheet. There wasn't a special occasion for this card, but I wanted to play with the paper and make something. So, I made a clean and simple card with some fun banners :)
I was inspired to make this type of banner from one of the cute little note cards that we got to make in Niki's Little Lovies class. Click here and here to check out the different note cards from class. And click here to check out what her next class is all about.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!

Thanks!

Happy Friday everyone! Here is a clean and simple Thank You card that I made for my husband. I so heart this guy. He is so wonderful and has been so sweet leaving gifts for me to find when I get home. And even writing a note for me on the calendar! hehe. So, for all that he does and for all that he means to me, I wanted to tell him how much I am thankful to be married to such a wonderful man.
I have to admit, I love to hoard embellishments and it's hard for me to let go sometimes, but this button and baker's twine was perfect for this card.
The "THANKS!" sentiment is a little sneak peak for you guys. Keep checking back because I'll be sharing how you can get this stamp set later ;)
OK, NERD ALERT! So, this is what I found when I got home after work yesterday! THIS IS SO AWESOME! I LOVE IT!! hehehe. NERD ALERT CONTINUES..... During a recent Harry Potter marathon (yes, we watched all 8 movies and even some of the special features. I know, totally geeked out and I loved it!). Anyhoo, I told my husband that it would be so cool to own a Gryffindor scarf and now I do!!!! WOOOOHOOO. I am so going to wear this to work today! lol.
Yay! Gryffindor WINS!!!!
Thanks for stopping by today and enjoy your day and have a wonderful weekend :)

christmas cheer

Hello and happy Friday! Here is a card that we got to make in my Holiday card making class this month. If you didn't get to join us this time around, hopefully you can join us next time :) Email me if you would like details on future classes. For this month's class, we got to make 6 cards and I'll be sharing the rest of the cards with you soon. So, stay tuned!
For this card, we used the Button Buddies stamp set (Clear 122737, Wood 122735). Isn't that snow man so cute?!?! Just add one of the buttons from the Neutrals Designer Buttons (119743) and add some Baker's Twine if you like (page 172) and you're done! I also love how this stamp set has an image for so many different occasions. I shared a baby shower card earlier this week. Click here if you'd like to check it out.
For the rest of the card, I used the Stripes Embossing folder (123128) to add some texture. Then, I used the 3/16" Corner punch (119871) to round out all the corners of each layer of the card. And the 'christmas cheer' sentiment is from one of my favorite sentiment stamp sets. The Sweet Essentials stamp set (Clear 126457, Wood 126455) has so many other sentiments that you can use for all kinds of occasions. And isn't the font so sweet? hehe.
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day and be safe out there if you decide to brave the elements of Black Friday shopping!! ;)

For a Baby Shower

Hello everyone! Here is another card that a friend from work requested. When she said she needed a card for a baby shower, I knew that I wanted to use the Button Buddies stamp set (Clear 122737, Wood 122735). That stamp set is so much fun and I love how it coordinates with the Stampin' Up! designer buttons.
Isn't that baby rattle so dang adorable!?!? And when you change the color of the designer button, there are so many possibilities! I used a Marina Mist button from the Subtles Designer Buttons pack (119745). I also like to add some baker's twine on the buttons and for this card, I used Early Espresso baker's twine (123124).
The 'congratulations on your new baby' is from the Friendly phrases stamp set (Clear 126151, Wood 126149). This is one of my favorite stamp set for special occasion sentiments. I like the combo of the different fonts. So cute and so sweet.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day :)
