Easter Baskets

Happy Easter!
For me and my family, today is a special holiday and the day to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Along with celebrating His rebirth, we also have fun with the Easter bunny, Easter eggs and Easter egg baskets for the kiddos. We've already had a couple of Easter egg hunts for the kids, and today we will be giving my niece and nephew their Easter egg baskets.
Joshua's basket is filled with mini Cadbury Creme Eggs, chocolate coins for good luck, a 2012 San Francisco Giants World Champs shirt to kick off the new baseball season and of course a talking Hulk plush.... Hulk Smash!! hehehe.
And for Eliana, her basket is also filled with mini Cadbury Creme Eggs and chocolate coins but she gets a Care Bear plush and a Hello Kitty plush with bunny ears. Of course, since she's still a little baby, the chocolate is for her Mommy ;)
I hope they like their baskets! And stay tuned for the Easter cards that we gave to our families.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend :)

Manicure in a Jar

Hello everyone and Happy Friday!! I have a super cute gift to show you today. My friend Chan is outta hand! She's amazing. She not only sends birthday cards, anniversary cards and even sympathy cards (which are hard to make but always appreciated when received) but she also gives little favors to her friends! Like this Manicure in a jar that she gave us demos at Stamp Camp. And did I mention SHE was one of the Demos at stamp camp and she made this for the rest of us gals?!?! She's so sweet :)
I love the tag that she added to the jar. Love framelits and love butterflies :) Super cute.
And these are all of the goodies that we found inside. See why I say she's outta hand!?! hehehe. She's super awesome!
Thank you so much Chan! {{hugs}}
Oh and hop on over to Two Rosie Cheeks to check out all of her amazing projects :)

18th Birthday

Hello! Here is a birthday card for you guys today. I had some fun making this one :) My friend asked me to make a special card for her cousin's 18th birthday but I totally forgot to give it to her before the birthday party. I felt so bad! But hopefully she's able to send it in the mail.
I used the Framed Tulips Folder (121809) to add a textured boarder around the card. The 18 was cut out using some Silver Glimmer paper (124005) and the Typeset Alphabet Bigz dies (127553). I also used my go-to flower punch from the  Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309) and I added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels (119246) to each flower.
The butterflies were punched out using the Elegant Butterfly punch (127526) and the Bitty Butterfly punch (129406). I then added one of the Large Rhinestone Basic Jewels (129324).
The flower in the middle of the card was made with the Fun Flowers Bigz L die (121812). The flower was placed in a window that was made with one of the dies from the Labels Collection Framelits (125598) and a silver glimmer paper bitty butterfly was added to one of the petals of the flower.
For the rosettes that I added on the card, I used some of the 5/8" Flower Trim. I simply cut each flower individually then added some Wisteria Wonder color to the tips of the flowers.
On the inside of the card, I added an elegant butterfly and the "Warmest Wishes on your birthday" sentiment is from the Blooming with Kindness stamp set (Clear 126422, Wood 126420).

I hope the birthday girl enjoyed celebrating her special day!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day :)

Pink and Blue Adoption Cards

Hello! Today I'd like to share some more adoption cards that we made to donate. These cards were created by my awesome friend Nicole. She's so super creative and isn't this card so super adorable?!??! Hmmm, is it because of the cute itty bitty butterflies? hehe. This is a card that I will definitely have to CASE! Hop on over to Teehee4two to check out all the other amazing projects that Nicole and her sister Andrea have created.

Since we don't know who these cards will be going to, Nicole made 2 versions - a pink one and a blue one. I love all the colors that she used! So bright and lovely :)

Come by and visit again soon! I will be sharing more adoption cards :)

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend!!

Adoption Cards

Hi! Today, I'd like to share some cards that my fellow stamping friends and I made for a wonderful cause. When my friend and upline Nicole approached all of us about making cards to donate to an organization that places children with their new adoptive parents, I said yes right away! It is such a special moment when an adoption is made official and several of us were able to get together to make some Adoption cards. We all got to make cards featuring the Cuddles and Kisses stamp set. And Nicole even provided little cut outs of the Adoption Creed to put inside some of the cards.
Here are all the cards that we made :)
And here is one of the cards that my friend Alyssa made. She's amazing, I love her style! You should hop on over to Mommy, etc to check out all her other amazing projects.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!!

Bow Tie Father project

Hello!! Last, but not least, here is the 6th Stamp Camp project that I'll be sharing with all of you. At our Spring Sampler stamp camp, all the lovely ladies who were able to attend got to make 6 projects (5 cards and 1 3-D). And I may be biased, but I thought they were all pretty awesome :) And so were all the demonstrators! My friend and fellow demo Emi got to demo this card.
I love punch art and aren't these bow ties super adorable?!?! What a neat idea for a Father's day card! Who knew that you could use the Petite Pennants Builder punch (122361) to make these bow ties?!?! Brilliant!!!!
You can use any DSP to make these bow ties. For this card, we used Comfort Café Designer Series Paper (126898). And I like the color combo with Cajun Craze. I rarely use that color but when I see it being used, I remember how pretty it is!

And speaking of fathers..... here's a quick shout out to my hubby's Pop.....

Happy Birthday to my Father-in-Law!!
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day :)

Feeling Sentimental project

Hi!! This is another card from Stamp Camp :) My friend and fellow demo Sarah demo-ed this card. This card has a ton of elements that I love. There's a banner, ribbon, sponging and those oh so cute flowers from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309). I'm telling you, that punch set is a must have!
The stamp image and sentiment are from the feeling sentimental Stamp Set (Clear 129630, Wood 129627). I love the look of this stamp set because of the vintage feel. And don't forget, you can get this stamp set for free during SAB :)
And another great item that you can get during Sale-a-Bration for FREE is the
Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper (127540). I love all the colors and the different paper patterns.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!

Thanks So Much project

Hey everyone! Here's another Stamp Camp card for you today. Isn't it so cute? My fellow demo and friend Niki demo-ed this card. I love the color combo with the Crumb Cake and Calypso Coral. And this card has really inspired me to get the Distressed Dots Background Stamp (122815)!
I like the use of the Tea Lace Paper Doily (129399) on this card, too. And the layering of all the different pieces adds to the elegance.
And look at the single flower from the Vanilla 5/8" Flower Trim (126869), the Natural 7/16" Trim Ribbon (129287) and the cute little safety pin from the Vintage Trinkets set (118764). Who knew that these embellishments would look so cute together?!?!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day :)

Easter Egg Decorating

Hey everyone! I know it is a bit early, but we had family visit over the weekend and my sister-in-law brought some eggs to decorate. Isn't she so sweet! She's awesome. And what's a visit to Auntie Charlette's house without some crafting fun?!?! hehehe. And it was such a pretty day, we decided to decorate the eggs in the backyard.
Here we are setting up all the eggs and all the different colors to start the decorating fun. It was super cute because all the kids were super excited!!!!
And after some instructions from Auntie Aly and a little bit of demonstrating, the kids started decorating.
After all the eggs were dyed, the kids added to their egg decorating by taking some crayons to color or draw and they even grabbed up some stickers, too. Once all the eggs were completely finished being decorated, they decorated their Easter egg bags.
Once their bags were done, we sent the kids back into the house so that we could hide all the Easter eggs in the backyard for the Easter egg hunt! I think the adults were almost as excited to hide the Easter eggs as the kids were to find them! hehe.
Once we told the kids that all the eggs were hidden, they took off running! And here is probably one of the most creative hiding places. Hidden in plain site on top of our water fountain. ALL the kids walked right by it but my little nephew Joshua somehow found it even though he is one of the shorter kiddos. OK, maybe he had a little bit of help from Auntie Charlette ;)
Now, after the Easter egg hunt was over, my mom told the kids that they would get a little something for each egg they found. So, all the kids took their eggs out of their baggies and started counting. We were all excited because after we counted the eggs, the kiddos actually found them all! So phew, no left over eggs for our Peanut to find! haha.
And wow, look at this tray.... Josh sure did find a lot of eggs! He actually counted them all himself! All "five-teen" of them! He was so excited because he had the most! But I think he had a couple of Easter bunnies helping him out ;) hehe.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day :)
