Tea Hat Container

Good morning and Happy Monday!

To start off the week, I wanted to share some amazing projects from Nicole's downline meeting. She made each of us a special gift :) She is so amazing and super talented! As I've mentioned before, her first love is jewelry and she shared that with us by making each of us beautiful earrings! And they came in this oh so cute "tea hat" container. There were blue ones and pink ones at each of our place settings. I got a pink one :)

These tea hats are super cute! Nicole did mention she got inspiration from a blog but I don't recall the name of it at the moment. I'll have to check on that for you! Anyhoo, look what we found inside!!

I wore my earrings all weekend long! hehe. I love them :) Stay tuned for more downline meeting crafting fun!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

It's a Tea Party Downline Meeting!

Good morning everyone!

So, yesterday, I mentioned I was going to a downline meeting. And let me tell you, Nicole's downline meeting was AMAZING!!!! It was not only a downline meeting but also a tea party! a TEA PARTY! How cute is that?!?! Nicole went above and beyond to make us girls feel extra special. And I did feel so special even though I was a tad bit under-dressed in my Goonies t-shirt. But hey! It's all good because I was at an awesome tea party! It was all so super fancy :) Check it out!

We each had our own place settings all decked out with a tea cup and saucer, 2 plates, a drinking glass, silverware and a cloth napkin! Yes, I said a CLOTH napkin! I felt so bad when I spilled some tea that I asked for some paper napkins because I didn't want to clean up the spilled tea with the fancy cloth napkin! There were 4 different flavors of tea for all of us to try and I must say I have a new favorite :) Royal Wedding. Oh so delicious! I just added a bit of cream and I was all set! We were so impressed with the spread and the tea and thought that was it. But wait! There's more!! Then came out the food!

Not only was the tea delicious, so was the food and can I just say that I love, love, loved it all!! There were strawberries, scones, sausage filled croissants, and three different kinds of tea sandwiches - cucumber, egg salad and chicken salad. And then came the dessert! Bunt cakes and pie! I couldn't get enough of it all and couldn't get over how amazing everything was!

And after this wonderful tea party, we had a fun filled meeting with reports, recognitions, make and takes and swaps! These ladies are so super talented! Stay tuned for more of that fun stuff.

Thank you again Nicole for all the hard work you put into this wonderful tea party and downline meeting. You and your sister are so inspiring! You always introduce me to new worlds and now I want to buy some tea, buy some cream and bust out my tea set! Tee-Hee :D Thanks again for a wonderful afternoon!!

Nicole's Downline Meeting

Good morning everyone!

Today is an exciting day because my talented downlines are going to their very first downline meeting! Wooohoooo! This downline meeting is for all the downlines of my awesome upline Nicole. My amazing up-upline Niki will also be there :) I can't wait to get my stamp on with these ladies. They are all so super creative!

Along with discussing anything and everything Stampin' Up!, we will of course be getting crafty :) And to get all pumped for this meeting, there will also be a swap! I know my downlines have been working hard on their swaps and they've been really excited about them! I can't wait to see what their creative minds came up with :)

As for me, it took me awhile to try and figure out what I was going to do. But, after sitting myself down and looking over what I had, I finally came up with a card. I also wanted to use something that I haven't used in awhile and was super excited when I finished. I took inspiration from recent cards that I have made and this is a sneak peek of the card that I made for the swap:

I also made gifts for everyone so stay tuned! I can't wait to share all the fun stuff from this meeting with you :)

Have a wonderful Saturday and great weekend!

For the Newlyweds

Good morning everyone!

I just LOVE weddings :) And I was so happy when my friend Camille asked me to make a wedding card for her friends who recently got married. I decided to go a little bigger than normal and created a 5x7 card. She mentioned that the colors of the wedding were purple and silver so I went with Perfect Plum and the Silver Glimmer paper. Since all I knew about the wedding were the colors, I also went with butterflies and a little bling :)

I love butterflies and I love the butterfly in the Creative Elements stamp set. Isn't it so pretty? I love the elegant doily like pattern of the butterfly. And I am a huge fan of glitter, glimmer and bling, which is why I found myself reaching for the Silver Glimmer paper and the Basic Rhinestone Jewels.

Here is what I used to make the card:
Whisper White Card Stock (100730)
Silver Glimmer Paper (124005)
Perfect Plum Classic Stampin' Pad (101437)
Scallop Trim Border Punch (118402)
Creative Elements Stamp Set (Clear 122647, Wood 122645)
Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set (115370)
Basic Rhinestones Jewels (119246)

Extreme Surfboard

Good morning everyone!

My friend Camille wanted a card with a surfer for her hubby's upcoming birthday (HOPE YOU HAVE  WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY CLINT!!!!). I didn't have any surfer or beach themed stamp sets and thought this was a perfect opportunity to try something new on MDS :) And what's great about MDS is that the opportunities are endless! And what's even better about MDS is that you can try out MDS Express for FREE for 30 days! Click here to find out more information about this great Stampin' Up! Digital designing software trial.

I decided to try and make another hybrid card. I designed this card using MDS and added a few things. This is what I came up with on MDS:

I wanted to add some dimension to the card so I also printed out another sheet of just the surfboards so I could cut them out individually:

And here is the finished card with the surfboards popped up and the surfer is embossed with black embossing powder to give it that shine. My hubby really likes the card and now he's REALLY looking forward to HIS birthday card! Hmmm, no pressure, not at all ;)

Here is a list of what I used to make this card:
My Digital Studio (118108)
Extreme Surfboard Stamp Brush Set - Digital Download (124218)
Boardwalk Stamp Brush Set - Digital Download (129598)
Digital colors - Basic Black, Bashful Blue, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, Early Espresso, Night of Navy, Not Quite Navy, Wild Wasabi and Real Red
Black Stampin’ Emboss® Powder (109133)
Heat Tool (100005)
Powder Pals (102197)
Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430)

Happy Birthday Uncle Rolly!

Happy Monday everyone!

And....
HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE ROLLY!!

Today I would like to share a card that I made for my uncle's birthday. He's a simple guy, so I made a simple card. I like the clean and simple look of it. I left it with my mom when we went to visit so that she can give it to him today.

I wanted to use some Stampin' Up! designer buttons and I've seen some cards with variations of this design and thought that my uncle would like it. I was bummed because I didn't have any stamp sets with 'Happy Birthday' sentiments. I know, I know, how could that happen?!?! But it did happen, so I wasn't able to stamp any sentiment on the front of the card :(

Here is the supply list:
Whisper White Card Stock (100730)
Island Indigo Card Stock (122923)
Lucky Limeade Card Stock (122926)
Pool Party Card Stock (122924)
Daffodil Delight Card Stock (119683)
