Babies fill your heart with happy

Hello! Today I'd like to share another card from my monthly stamping class. This is a card for any occasion for babies and the ladies now have a card for any such occasion on hand. I was excited to use a background stamp and new I just had to use the Distressed Dots background stamp (122815). I love the look of it :)
To add some texture to the card we used the little hearts folder from the Adorning Accents Folders (125601) which I thought would be really cute with this card. To get all the ovals, we used one of the framelits from the Ovals Collection Framelits Dies and the Extra-Large Oval punch (119859). Oh and we also used the oval folder from the Designer Frames Folders (123130).
The "babies fill your heart with happy" stamp is from the Cuddles & Kisses stamp set (Clear 127314, Wood 127312). We also used the Small Heart punch (117193) and added a Large Rhinestone Basic Jewel (129324).
Enjoy the rest of your day and thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday and Precious Baby

Hello! Here are a couple more cards from the Shoebox event that Niki was so nice to host last week. This lovely Precious Baby card was made by my friend Jen. She is super fabulous. You should really hop on over to her blog, Midnight Martha, to check out all her lovely creations.
And this Happy Birthday card was created by my friend and upline, Nicole. She is amazing! Check out all the love that went into creating this card. Lots of sponging, so many different punches, different DSP and an embellishment here and there. You should also hop on over to teehee4two to check out her other creative projects. Nicole shares the blog with her sister Andrea, she's pretty awesome too.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

welcome, baby

Hello everyone! Happy Sunday! Today, I'd like to share a card that I made to welcome a new baby :) My friend gave birth to a baby boy last week and we sent off this card to welcome the new addition to their family. We can't wait to meet the new little one :)

I decided to go with a natural type color scheme with Very Vanilla, Early Espresso and Lucky Limeade. And I even used some Natural Linen Thread (104199) to tie the tag onto the card. I used the now retired Fox & Friends stamp set (Clear 118565). That little monkey is just oh so cute! And the 'welcome, baby' sentiment is from Petite Pairs (Clear 122497, Wood 122495) which is another stamp set that I use ... A LOT! hehe.

I also wanted to use the Natural 7/8" Cotton Ribbon (127844) and the new Chevron Folder (127749). I really like that texture pattern. It's one of my new favorites :)

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend!!

Baby Welcome to the World!

Hello! Here is the last card that the ladies got to make in last month's Embellishments class. I hope they had as much fun making all of the cards as I did when I made them. I love embellishments and aren't they so much fun when they coordinate with the stamp set?

For this card we used the Button Buddies stamp set (Clear 122737, Wood 122735). We also got to use the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder (117335) and the Scallop Edge Border punch (119882).

For the sentiment, we used 'baby welcome to the world!', which is from the A Word for You stamp set (Clear 120528, Wood 117032). This stamp set also has another sentiment that goes well with the Button Buddies stamp set. Check out a card that I made here. These stamps are actually what sold me on these sets. So darn cute!!!!

And just look how cute those Subtles Designer Buttons (119745) are with the baby rattle stamp from the Button Buddies stamp set. We went with colors from the Subtles color family and since we used various button colors, wouldn't this be cute for a baby girl or baby boy? Or you could just change up the colors to pink or blue, too :)

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the beginning of your week!!

Congratulations

Hello everyone! Over the weekend, I got to hang out with friends and family at my monthly class. This month, I wanted to have an embellishments class and used the Button Buddies stamp set (Clear 122737, Wood 122735) and the new Embellished Events stamp set (Clear 126497, Wood 126495). I have wanted to use these stamp sets for such a long time and was so happy to finally use them for a class :)

For this card, we used the cute little duckie and the congratulations sentiment from the Embellished Events stamp set. That's what I like about this stamp set. There are matching sentiments and stamped images for all occasions.

We also used the new Argyle embossing folder (127750), the 2-3/8" Scallop Circle punch (118874) and the 2-1/2" Circle punch (120906).

And we got to use the Vintage Trinkets embellishments (118764). These add easy vintage touches with little brads and pins and the brads look like little buttons! How cute is that?!?! And aren't the safety pins so cute on a "baby" card?

Stay tuned for the other 5 cards that the ladies got to make in this month's class. And save the date! The next class will be Saturday, August 25. Feel free to email me if you would like to join us or if you have any questions.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your week :)

Congratulations

Hello everyone! Here is another baby shower card that I made awhile back for a friend. Unfortunately, we were not able to attend her baby shower because of another family party but we can't wait to meet their new baby boy!

I am becoming a big fan of the new Chevron Embossing folder (127749). I like the texture that it adds to a card. I also got to use some of my Stampin' Write Markers for the stamped image. I used More Mustard (119701) for the rubber duckie and Pool Party & Island Indigo (123002) for the cute little wagon. The rubber duckie on the wagon and the "congratulations" sentiment are from the new Embellished Events stamp set (Clear 126497, Wood 126495).

And just add some layers and some Whisper White Baker's Twine (124262) and there you go! A clean and simple card, perfect for a baby shower :)

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

It's a Boy!!

Hello everyone!

Today we get to see a couple of our best friends at their babyshower :) We are so super excited! We can't wait to see them and congratulate them on this joyous occasion!

I wanted to make another card with onesies. Remember that card? Click here if you'd like to check it out. But, instead of the onesies, I decided to cut out the letters B-O-Y since they are having a boy :) And I'm loving the new Typeset Alphabet Bigz Dies (127553)! So, I just had to use them on this card. hehehe.

And aren't those mini clothespins so super cute?!?! I also added some flowers to the grass to add some color to this outdoor setting.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend :)

It's a GIRL!!

Hello everyone! The other day, I found out that my nephew is going to have a little sister!! How exciting :D I can't wait to start shopping!!!! hehehehe.

Here is the card that I made for them. I decided to go with a banner type card and remembered that I had these letters. Aren't they fun? All girly and swirly ;) And of course, I went with my favorite... butterflies :)

Here's another shot of the 'GIRL' banner. And there's a little peek of what I added on the inside.

I love the Beautiful Wings Embosslits (118138)! It not only die cuts cute butterfly shapes but it also embosses each one with different textures at the same time! Love it :D And did you notice the Labels Collection Framelits (125598)? So love those, too!! And of course the flower punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309). I practically use it on every card these days. So, it's another must have ;)

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!!

For Baby

Hello everyone!

Here is a card that I made awhile back using product from the Stampin' Up! Standard Starter Kit that I got when I signed up to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

After being a customer for awhile, I decided to join Nicole's team and sign up! And boy, did I sign up for much more than I expected! Not only did I get over $300 worth of product for only $175, but every month I get a magazine with so many great tips and project ideas, and I also have access to a demonstrator website where other Demonstrators share projects and these demos are AMAZINGLY creative! I just LOVE looking at all the wonderful projects they come up with! Here is a quick look at what comes in the Standard Starter Kit:

And what's great about our Standard Starter Kit right now is that you can get yours for just $125! During Sale-A-Bration, the starter kit has been disounted and what's better than a discount? Something for FREE!! If you sign up to be a part of my team during this time, you not only get the starter kit at a great deal, but you get your choice of FREE paper or a digital download EVERY MONTH for the rest of the year! If you have been thinking about becoming a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, this would be a great time to make it happen! Sale-A-Bration ends Saturday, March 31 so please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about becoming a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

Here's a close up of the For Baby card. Not only did I stamp the image, I also used Stampin' Write Markers to color in the ducky and umbrella. You can color in images with the markers or you can use blender pens which I love using to add color and dimension to some stamped images. If you would like to try out our markers or blender pens, contact me to set up a workshop and I'd be more than happy to show you and your family and friends!
