Happy Halloween! card

Happy Friday everyone! This Halloween card from last month's class was actually my hubby's pick of the day. He liked all the different stamps that were used and the colors. There's a witch, a ghost, a black cat and a mummy... so many fun characters for Halloween :) Some of the ladies really liked this one too because of all the different stamping they got to do. Oh and there was a little bit of sponging going on, too.
I'm thinking I may need to make a few more of these cards so that my husband can hand them out to his friends at work :)

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Halloween Mummy

Hello everyone! Here is another fun little Halloween card that the ladies got to make during class last month. I have seen so many versions of this guy and I've been wanting to try it out on a card. After playing around with different looks, I went with this one for the class.

We used a few punches to make the eyes of the mummy and we sponged up all the Very Vanilla pieces then attached the mummy bandages at different angles to give the card that mummy look and feel.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Bats fly at night

Hi and hello everyone! Here is another Halloween card from last month's class. I went clean and simple for this one and we simply stamped and sponged to get this look. I also used two different stamp sets that I normally would not even think to use together, but for Halloween I think it works perfectly :) I love the look of the trees with the bats flying around in the night sky.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!!

Cutesy Creepy Crawly

Hey everyone! Here is another punch art type Halloween card. This one was inspired by a little magnet that I made for my friends at work. I knew that for one of the cards I wanted to use the Stampin' Up! spiderweb embossing folder and this cutesy creepy crawly spider went well with it!
We used several punches to create this little guy... from circle punches to a scallop circle punches. I like the big eyes and you can even used googly eyes! How fun would that be?!?!?! hehe. This project was pretty easy to put together. Assembling the spider took the longest because we had to line up the little legs individually. But the ladies seemed to have fun making this card :)

Halloween Punch Art

Hello everyone! As I was thinking about my crafting class for next month, I realized I still need to share the projects from last month's class! Today, I'd like to share a card that everyone got to make. All of the cards were Halloween themed since it is just around the corner :) For this project, we used a little punch art. Gotta love punch art!
This card was fun to make and was inspired by a project that we made in one of Niki's Thursday night classes. In Niki's class, we got to make a cute little favor box with this guy's face and I thought it would also make a neat card. And it was pretty easy to make! We used several circle punches and an oval punch for the eyes and nose. Then we used scissors for the hair and a stampin' write marker for the mouth and scars.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your week :)

Wedding Decor

Hello! Today, I'd like to share some lovely decorations from our friend's wedding not too long ago. I love weddings and I love how beautiful everything is! I can't help but take lots of pictures and it was hard to choose which ones to share with all of you :)
As we walked in, there was this big table with all the place cards and this sign for the lovely couple.
As we walked through the lobby, we found the gift table and this oh so cute card box where we dropped off our card. And there it is, right on top :) hehehe.
After the beautiful ceremony, we walked into the reception hall and here is the amazing cake! Isn't it so pretty?!?!?!
And here is the table for the new Mr. & Mrs. and aren't those letters so adorable?
The chandeliers were also decorated with white lanterns.
Here are the tables with lovely white flowers as the center pieces...
... and there were olive branch pieces on the napkins.
Then as we walked out of the lobby after a wonderful wedding, the favors were placed on the large table that once held the place cards.
And how fun are these favors?!?! I love coasters and it's such a nice way to say Thank You to family and friends.
It was such a lovely wedding ceremony and reception and the new Mr. and Mrs. were so adorable and happy :) It was such an honor being invited and sharing in such a special occasion.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Product Playground

Hey everyone! I want to go back to our Stampin' Expo for a bit today. Along with making fun projects, the ladies also got to try out various Stampin' Up! products at the Product Playground :) How fun is that?!?!?!
Here is the Build a Banner Kit. It's so cool! It comes with canvas banner pieces and stencils! You can use spritzers or sponge daubers. The ladies also got to try out some spritzers at this station.
Along with spritzers, the ladies got to try out the sponge daubers. I love the look that you get when you use daubers.
Here are some samples of cards created using the sponge daubers.
And at this station the ladies got to try out the paper piercing tool and the various paper piercing packs. What's great about these paper piercing packs is that they coordinate with so many punches and stamp sets!
And here is another amazing SU tool.... Simply Scored :) This was a must have for me and I love it!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day everyone!

For Morvarid

Hello everyone! Here is a birthday card and birthday banner for you guys today. I went with pinks and browns for the birthday girl because those are the colors that remind us of the birthday girl. And polkadots are always fun :)
I added some butterflies and I ran the front butterfly through the Perfect Polkadots embossing folder to go with the polkadots on the paper.
Then I stamped the "Happy Birthday" sentiment on a banner and placed it on the front of the card.
And here is her birthday banner all set up to block the doorway into her cube :)
I used the same color scheme and paper for her banner so that it would match her birthday card.
And yes, I had to add butterflies to the banner, too ;)
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Mr. & Mrs.

Hello! Happy Monday everyone :) Today I'd like to share a card that I made for a very special couple who just got married!! Woohooo!! My hubby's friend at work got married over the weekend and this is the card that we gave to the lovely newlyweds.
I love the color combination of Vanilla, Blue and Brown so I went with this coordinating set of lovely paper and embellishments.
And don't you just love embellishments that coordinate so well with the paper and colors? I knew I had to use this "always" sticker to go on the front of the card. It even had coordinating brads as a nice little accent.
But as I was finishing up the card, I thought... hey.... I need to stamp something! hehe. So, I grabbed a stamp set with some sentiments to send well wishes of happiness to the happily married couple.
And of course, I just HAD to make a coordinating envelope :) Gotta love the new SU envelope maker. It's so much fun!!
All you have to do is grab a coordinating piece of paper.. cut.. punch.. score.. assemble.. and there you go! You have a hand made envelope to go with your hand made card :)
And then here I go again with the coordinating stickers! I used a "Mr. & Mrs" for the front of the envelope...
and I used a "forever" sticker to seal the back of the envelope :)
The wedding was so beautiful, the bride was radiant and the new Mr. & Mrs. were ridiculously happy. They were so adorable!!!! Stay tuned for some pictures of the lovely wedding :)

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Remembering Your Birthday card

Happy Friday everyone! Here is a birthday card that I made recently for a friend. It was so sweet of her to think of me when she needed a birthday card. She was at the store and was about to buy one when she decided to ask me if I could make a card for her.

I was excited to make this card because I knew that I wanted to use the new Remembering Your Birthday stamp set (Clear 131350, Wood 131347). What's so fun about this stamp set is that there are so many ways to wish someone Happy Birthday and there are sentiments for the front of the card as well as the inside of the card :)
And it's been awhile since I've used these framelits so I decided to use them, too. The Labels Collection Framelits Dies (125598) are so fun to use and there are 6 different sizes that you can play with for so many different types of projects.

Along with the card, I made a customized envelope to match. How fun is that!?!?! I am loving the new Stampin' Up! Envelope Punch Board (133774)!! And I know you will, too! But if you want to get one, order yours soon because they are flying off the shelves! You can customize envelopes in up to 66 different sizes. Pretty cool :)

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

For Melisa

Hello everyone! My friend Melisa celebrated her birthday not too long ago and this is the card that I made for her. She is a huge fan of Mondrian art and I wanted to incorporate it on her card and on her birthday banner. This card was fun to make with the different sizes and colors and then trying to put it all together like a puzzle.

And here is her matching banner. For the background of each banner piece, I printed out the matching pattern instead of individually cutting each piece like I did with the card.

I actually found a Mondrian bunny online and added it to her banner. We also cut out more of these bunnies and placed them all around her cube. Such a cute little bunny. hehehe. Thanks to the person who came up with the creative little bunny!
Thanks everyone for stopping by. Enjoy your day :)
