Happy Halloween! card

Happy Friday everyone! This Halloween card I made. There's a witch, a ghost, a black cat and a mummy... so many fun characters for Halloween :)
I'm thinking I may need to make a few more of these cards so that my husband can hand them out to his friends at work :)

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Halloween Mummy

Hello everyone! Here is another fun little Halloween card that I made. I have seen so many versions of this guy and I've been wanting to try it out on a card. After playing around with different looks, I went with this one:

I used a few punches to make the eyes of the mummy and sponged up all the Very Vanilla pieces then attached the mummy bandages at different angles to give the card that mummy look and feel.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Bats fly at night

Hi and hello everyone! Here is another Halloween card. I went clean and simple for this one and simply stamped and sponged to get this look. I also used two different stamp sets that I normally would not even think to use together, but for Halloween I think it works perfectly :) I love the look of the trees with the bats flying around in the night sky.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!!

Cutesy Creepy Crawly

Hey everyone! Here is another punch art type Halloween card. This one was inspired by a little magnet that I made for my friends at work. I knew that for one of the cards I wanted to use the Stampin' Up! spiderweb embossing folder and this cutesy creepy crawly spider went well with it!
I used several punches to create this little guy... from circle punches to a scallop circle punches. I like the big eyes and you can even used googly eyes! How fun would that be?!?!?! hehe. This project was pretty easy to put together. Assembling the spider took the longest because we had to line up the little legs individually. It was fun making this card :)

Happy Birthday card and banner

Hello everyone! Here is a birthday card and birthday banner for you guys today. I went with pinks and browns for the birthday girl because those are the colors that remind us of the birthday girl. And polkadots are always fun :)
I added some butterflies and I ran the front butterfly through the Perfect Polkadots embossing folder to go with the polkadots on the paper.
Then I stamped the "Happy Birthday" sentiment on a banner and placed it on the front of the card.
And here is her birthday banner all set up to block the doorway into her cube :)
I used the same color scheme and paper for her banner so that it would match her birthday card.
And yes, I had to add butterflies to the banner, too ;)
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Mr. & Mrs.

Hello! Happy Monday everyone :) Today I'd like to share a card that I made for a very special couple who just got married!! Woohooo!! My hubby's friend at work got married over the weekend and this is the card that we gave to the lovely newlyweds.
I love the color combination of Vanilla, Blue and Brown so I went with this coordinating set of lovely paper and embellishments.
And don't you just love embellishments that coordinate so well with the paper and colors? I knew I had to use this "always" sticker to go on the front of the card. It even had coordinating brads as a nice little accent.
But as I was finishing up the card, I thought... hey.... I need to stamp something! hehe. So, I grabbed a stamp set with some sentiments to send well wishes of happiness to the happily married couple.
And of course, I just HAD to make a coordinating envelope :) Gotta love the new SU envelope maker. It's so much fun!!
All you have to do is grab a coordinating piece of paper.. cut.. punch.. score.. assemble.. and there you go! You have a hand made envelope to go with your hand made card :)
And then here I go again with the coordinating stickers! I used a "Mr. & Mrs" for the front of the envelope...

and I used a "forever" sticker to seal the back of the envelope :)
The wedding was so beautiful, the bride was radiant and the new Mr. & Mrs. were ridiculously happy. They were so adorable!!!!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Remembering Your Birthday card

Happy Friday everyone! Here is a birthday card that I made recently for a friend. It was so sweet of her to think of me when she needed a birthday card. She was at the store and was about to buy one when she decided to ask me if I could make a card for her.

I was excited to make this card because I knew that I wanted to use the new Remembering Your Birthday stamp set (Clear 131350, Wood 131347). What's so fun about this stamp set is that there are so many ways to wish someone Happy Birthday and there are sentiments for the front of the card as well as the inside of the card :)
And it's been awhile since I've used these framelits so I decided to use them, too. The Labels Collection Framelits Dies (125598) are so fun to use and there are 6 different sizes that you can play with for so many different types of projects.

Along with the card, I made a customized envelope to match. How fun is that!?!?! I am loving the new Stampin' Up! Envelope Punch Board (133774)!! And I know you will, too! But if you want to get one, order yours soon because they are flying off the shelves! You can customize envelopes in up to 66 different sizes. Pretty cool :)

Happy Birthday card and banner

Hello everyone! My friend celebrated her birthday not too long ago and this is the card that I made for her. This card was fun to make with the different sizes and colors and then trying to put it all together like a puzzle.

And here is her matching banner. For the background of each banner piece, I printed out the matching pattern instead of individually cutting each piece like I did with the card.

Thanks everyone for stopping by. Enjoy your day :)

Birthday banner

Hi! Here is a birthday banner for you guys today. This banner was made for a friend's birthday. It was a week or so late, but that's OK! I like extending birthday celebrations :) And it's always fun to see people's reactions when they walk into the office and see that there's something waiting for them at their cube :D

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Birthday Wishes

Hello everyone! Today, I'd like to share a birthday card for a friend at work. She celebrated her birthday a couple of weekends ago but the celebration is never ending :) The ladies took her out to lunch and it was so yummy! I'm a real believer in celebrating your birth month if you can :) hehehe.
I am a HUGE fan of paper and I just love how this paper sparkles! And the colors and pattern is just so pretty. Sometimes, all you need is some pretty paper for a project.
I also added these pretty flowers and layered them to give the card some dimension. And my hubby was so sweet to help me with picking out the button for the flower :)
Along with the card, I of course had to make a birthday banner! I love banners, they are so fun! Stay tuned for pics of the banner in action along with some mini decorations that we put up in her cube.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day :)
