Cutesy Creepy Crawly

Hey everyone! Here is another punch art type Halloween card. This one was inspired by a little magnet that I made for my friends at work. I knew that for one of the cards I wanted to use the Stampin' Up! spiderweb embossing folder and this cutesy creepy crawly spider went well with it!
I used several punches to create this little guy... from circle punches to a scallop circle punches. I like the big eyes and you can even used googly eyes! How fun would that be?!?!?! hehe. This project was pretty easy to put together. Assembling the spider took the longest because we had to line up the little legs individually. It was fun making this card :)

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

1st Birthday

Hello! Today I'd like to share a birthday card for a little guy who turned the big O-N-E! His birthday party was AMAZING! And with the Kung Fu Panda theme, I knew I wanted to tie in the card somehow. I decided to go with a cute little panda holding a banner sending him birthday wishes.
I love, love, love punch art and I knew I had to do something with punches. I had a vision in my head and I was so crossing my fingers that it would turn out OK. Before I put the little guy together, I had to ask my hubby what animal it looked like... hehe. And thank goodness he said "panda"!
I used oval punches and circle punches to create this little guy. There was some trial and error but I finally finished the card. Clean and simple and went with the theme. Click here to check out the AMAZING decorations that the birthday boy's mommy and daddy created.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day :)

Bow Tie Father project

Hello!! Last, but not least, here is the 6th Stamp Camp project that I'll be sharing with all of you. At our Spring Sampler stamp camp, all the lovely ladies who were able to attend got to make 6 projects (5 cards and 1 3-D). And I may be biased, but I thought they were all pretty awesome :) And so were all the demonstrators! My friend and fellow demo Emi got to demo this card.
I love punch art and aren't these bow ties super adorable?!?! What a neat idea for a Father's day card! Who knew that you could use the Petite Pennants Builder punch (122361) to make these bow ties?!?! Brilliant!!!!
You can use any DSP to make these bow ties. For this card, we used Comfort Café Designer Series Paper (126898). And I like the color combo with Cajun Craze. I rarely use that color but when I see it being used, I remember how pretty it is!

And speaking of fathers..... here's a quick shout out to my hubby's Pop.....

Happy Birthday to my Father-in-Law!!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day :)

For Patricia

Happy Birthday Patricia!
Hi! Today is a special day because it's my friend Patricia's birthday AND her grandson is playing in his FIRST little league game :) A couple of exciting reasons to celebrate today! Now, for her card this year, I wanted to go with something fun. She is a huge Mickey Mouse fan so I went with a Mickey and Minnie card.
 Here is Mickey...
 Here is Minnie...
And the "happy Birthday wishes...to someone who makes others so happy" sentiments are from the Petite Pairs stamp set (Clear 122497, Wood 122495).
And what's great about the Petite Pairs stamp set is that with every sentiment that you stamp on the front, it has a matching pair for the inside of the card. I love this stamp set for that reason and that there are so many different sentiments for so many different occasions.
I hope Patricia enjoys her special day and I hope she and her family have an amazing time at her grandson's little league game :)

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! Enjoy your weekend!!

For Fletcher

Hello! Here is a card that I made for my husband's little cousin's birthday. He's into video games and I decided to go old school and came up with this card. I could have gone upstairs to check out my husband's original video game controller, but with the power of Google, I was able to conjure up an image for inspiration. I hope Fletcher gets it! My husband said he was jealous. hehe.
I went with Basic Gray, Basic Black, Real Red and Whisper White for the colors. And to make all the buttons and what-not on the controller, I used the Word Window punch (119857), the 1-3/8" Square punch (119877), the 1-1/4" Square punch (119865) and the 1/2" Circle punch (119869). The 'happy birthday' sentiment is from the Family Reunion stamp set (Clear 122712, Wood 122710). It's a pretty cool stamp set to have because you can wish so many different people Happy Birthday :)
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Wonderful You

Hello! Here is a card that I made for a friend at work. The gals got to sign it too and I was so glad that she loved her card :) And if this card looks kinda familiar, I case-d it from the card that we made at our Think Pink event. Click here and here to check out the event.
To make this card, I used the Word Window punch (119857) and the 1-3/4" Scallop Circle punch (119854). And to add some bling, I used one of the punches from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309) and a Rhinestone Basic Jewel (119246).
To add some dimension, I used one of the folders from the Delicate Designs Folder pack (127023). And the 'Wonderful You' sentiment is from the Loving Thoughts stamp set (Clear 125845, Wood 125843). This is one of my favorite stamp sets because of all the sentiments and the pretty font :)
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Mickey 1st Birthday

Hello everyone! Today, I'd like to share a birthday card that I made for a little boy who is turning 1. My friend asked me to make a card for her and of course I said yes :) When I asked her what are the birthday boy's favorite things these days, she mentioned Mickey and the first thing I thought of  were some decor that my friend Chan made for a Mickey and Minnie Party.
Chan's friend asked her to help out with her kids' birthdays and they made some super cute stuff! I cased this birthday card from the invitations that she made. Hop on over to Two Rosie Cheeks to check out the super cute Mickey and Minnie birthday invitations.
I wanted to create a Mickey that would fit the whole front of the card so I busted out all of my circle punches and circle dies to play with until I got the right size. I ended up using the 3" Circle Originals die (122125), the 1-3/4" Circle (119850) punch and the 3/4" Circle punch (119873).
I also used the Stripes folder (123128) to add a little texture to the background. And the 'happy birthday' sentiment is from the Family Reunion stamp set (Clear 122712, Wood 122710). I used some Silver Glimmer Paper (124005) and the Typeset Alphabet Bigz dies (127553) to cut out the number 1.

Okie dokie, have a great Monday and enjoy the start to your week. Thanks for stopping by :)

Gingerbread Folks

Hey everyone! I know it's taken me awhile to share all of the lovely cards that the ladies got to make at our recent stamp camp, but here is the last of the Holiday Soiree cards :) It's a Christmas one and isn't it so adorable?!?!?! The Scentsational Season stamp set and Holiday Collection Framelits Dies are both from the Holiday Catalog. Click here to see the catalog. Grab your holiday catalog wish list stuff soon before the holiday catalog ends!
And isn't this little gingerbread guy so cute? You can even add a little flower using the itty bitty bits punch pack to make it a cute little gingerbread gal :) And you can use the little scallop punch from the same punch pack to take a bite out of one of the gingerbread folks like we did here. Cute, right?
And look what they did to create a little rolling pin! It's the word window punch and the jewelry tag punch. Pretty cool! I love when you can use your punches in different ways.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend and thanks for stopping by :)

Lego Birthday Card

Hello! So, I've seen this card many, many times and I've always wanted to try it out. I like how this is kinda like punch art. Basic, but fun. And since we have a Lego fan celebrating his birthday this month, I thought... why not give it a shot! Our mister boss man is a HUGE Lego fanatic! We had a team meeting last week and I thought it was so cool that he had on some red lego cufflinks. They looked pretty sharp if you ask me.

So.... here is the lego card that I made. I went with the basic colors with white as the base, red as the background and blue, orange, green and yellow for the lego pieces.
And for the circles, I used the 3/4" Circle punch (119873) and I popped them up using Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430) to kinda give it that raised look.
And the happy birthday sentiment is from the Family Reunion stamp set (Clear 122712, Wood 122710). We will be passing around this card to everyone in the department so that they can jot down a little something to wish him a very happy birthday.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a great day :)

Turkey Lurkey

Hey everyone! Here is one of the lovely cards from stamp camp :) This card is so adorable! And I just LOVE punch art! Don't you? Check out how one of my favorite punches is used for this card.

Isn't this little turkey so cute?!?!?!?! And who knew that you could use the Blossom Punch (125603) to make this turkey?!?! Genius! I have to say it again... I love punch art :) hehehe.

I do love the colors of this card. The Orchard Harvest Designer Series Paper (126895) features a ton of colors that are great for the Fall and Thanksgiving. And that Woodgrain Embossing folder (127821) is another must have for you Big Shot fans out there :)

If any of you are interested in purchasing a to-go kit from Stamp Camp, email me and I can send you all the info but hurry! The to-go kits are only available for purchase for a few more days!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Happy Birthday Candles

Hello everyone! A friend from work requested a birthday card for a friend who celebrated his birthday last week. He did mention that they have been to Burning Man together a few times so I wanted to incorporate some flames onto the card. At first, I was thinking just fire everywhere! But after searching online for a bit, I decided on candle flames... and LOTS of it! hehe.

I love punch art and being able to use product outside of the box. When I saw several people use the Blossom Petals Builder Punch (121808) to make candle flames, I decided to try it out. Whoever came up with this... GENIUS!!!! To add a little more dimension to the candle flames, I did a little sponging :) And look at the red, white and blue candles, hmmmm, I wonder what day his birthday is ;)

For the birthday sentiment, I used the Delightful Dozen stamp set (Clear 122652, Wood 122650). And to add a little more texture to the card, I used the Stripes Embossing Folder (123128).

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day :)
