Hello! Here is another card that we got to make in my stamping class last month. This was a CASE from a magazine that we SU demos get. I love flipping through that magazine to get inspiration and project ideas. I did change this card up a bit but I do like how it turned out.

To add some texture to the card, we used the Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (127821). And used the 1-3/4" Scallop Circle punch (119854) to add some dimension behind the sentiment.

The "Thank U" sentiment is from the A Round Array stamp set (Clear 129090). And what's great about this stamp set is that there is a coordinating punch! The 7/8" Scallop Circle Punch. And what's even better is that this set comes in a bundle - the Spring Surprise Bundle (Clear 133899)! I love when SU creates product that coordinate :)

Happy Birthday Card

Hey everyone! Here is a birthday card that I made for my friend who's special day is today :) When I thought about making her card, I knew that I wanted to use some framelits and a matching stamp set. I love how Stampin' Up! creates products that coordinate so well together!

When I saw the Secret Garden Bundle (Clear 131099, Wood 131100) in the Spring Catalog, I knew I just HAD to get it! You can also buy them separately. You can get just the Secret Garden Framelits Dies (129372) or just the Secret Garden stamp set (Clear 129144, Wood 129141).

After stamping and cutting out the flowers and leaves with the framelits, I colored the flowers using my Stampin' Write markers then stacked everything together to form this bouquet on the front of the card. I also used the Perfect Polka Dots Folder (117335) to add some texture behind the bouquet of flowers.

Scentsational Ginger Bread

Hey everyone! Here is a card that we got to make in Niki's 'Christmas in August' class. We got to play with new product from the Holiday Catalog. So much fun! I love new SU product :) This card featured the Ginger Bread man from the Holiday Collection Framelits Dies (127814) and from the Scentsational Season stamp set (Clear 121190, Wood 121026). Here is my card. I kinda sorta forgot to emboss the whisper white cardstock. Ooops! It's way cuter with the additional texture. Check out Niki's card here.

Just look how cute those little ginger bread guys are!! We stamped one image and then the other ginger bread was cut out with the framelit. What's cool about the stamp set and the framelits dies is that as well as buying them individually, you can also buy them as a set - the Scentsational Season Bundle (Clear 129946, Wood 129945). If you guys are like me and love getting product that coordinate, then the bundle is the best way to go!

We also got to embellish the card with a new button. The Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons were a must buy for me when I saw them in the 2012-2013 SU catalog. I've had them for awhile and just liked looking at them but had no idea what to do with them... until now! hehe.
