Thank you

Hello! Over the weekend I got together with friends and family for a card making class. Everyone got to make 6 cards and this card is a case of a card that I case'd earlier this week. I just changed up the orientation of the card.
I used some Afternoon Picnic DSP (131390) and the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309) and the Elegant Butterfly punch (127526) and layered the pieces together.
For the "Thank You doesn't begin to say it all..." sentiment, I used the new Lots of Thanks stamp set (Clear 129690, Wood 129687). I also used some new colors on this card. I do like the look of the soft colors of Soft Sky and Smoky Slate.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Thank You

Hello! This thank you card is a CASE from a magazine I saw the other day. When I saw this card, I knew that I had to try and make it right away :)
The "Thank You doesn't begin to say it all..." is from the new Lots of Thanks stamp set (Clear 129690, Wood 129687). This new stamp set has quickly become one of my go-to stamp sets for thank you cards. There are so many different ways to express your thanks to someone.
I used the new Afternoon Picnic DSP (131390). This is one of my favorite DSPs at the moment. I also used the Elegant Butterfly punch (127526) and the small flower punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309).
Thanks for stopping by and have a Happy Friday!!

18th birthday card

Hello! My little cousin turned 18 a few weeks ago and we got to celebrate with her over the weekend. I still can't believe that she's a young lady now! My how time flies! At the party, we played a video for her with all these lovely pictures of her growing up and let me tell you... there was not one dry eye in the room! Ok, maybe just amongst the ladies... but the gents were pretty moved too even though there weren't any tears for them ;)
I had so much fun making this card for her. I went clean and simple but used my favorite tool - the Big Shot - to add some texture, cut out this shape, cut out the "18" and the pretty butterfly.
And you gotta love the SU silver glimmer paper! Adds so much lovely bling-bling to a card or any project :)
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

best wishes

Hello everyone! Here is another clean and simple card for you guys today. I love the look of this card and it's another CASE from our demo magazine. I'm glad that the ladies in class liked the card too. Super cute and super quick and easy to make :)
The "best wishes" sentiment is from the Wishes Your Way stamp set (Clear 129156, Wood 129153). And you can find it in the Spring catalog. And to add a little border to the card, we used the Framed Tulips Folder (121809).
To get this lovely look on the butterfly, we used the En Français background stamp (109521) and the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz die (114507). And we also added a small flower using the Itty Bitty Punch Pack (118309). For a little bling, we added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel (119246).
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day :)

Thanks so much

Hello everyone and happy Friday :) Here is another card from this month's stamping class. Another clean and simple one for you guys and another CASE from our SU Demo magazine. I really like getting ideas from that magazine :)
To add some texture, we used the Stripes embossing folder and to get that oval shape, we used one of the oval framelits and the stamped image just popped on through!
Of course, I had to use the Bitty Butterfly punch and that ever so handy tiny flower punch from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack :) I love these punches!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great Friday! Enjoy your weekend :)

Happy Birthday

Hello! Here is another card that we made at my Spring Catalog class. And of course, it's another CASE of a card that I saw in the catalog. I love getting inspired by all the pretty things in there! This card was so fun to make with all the different elements going on.
We got to play with some Silver Soda Pop Tops (129388). I ran them through the Big Shot to get that finished edge. Have I mentioned lately that I love the Big Shot?!?!?! hehehe. Anyhoo, I also used the Collage Curios stamp set (Clear 129102, Wood 129099) and the 1" Circle punch (119868) to stamp these images and punch it out to fit into the pop top. And to give it a little extra something, I added a layer of Crystal Effects (101055).
And there's some of that lovely Tea For Two DSP (129311) and Tea Lace Paper Doilies (129399). I also used one of my new favorite embossing folders - the Honeycomb Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (129378). So yeah, lots of stuff going on with this card but when I saw it in the Spring Catalog, I knew I had to case it :)
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day :)

Celebrate

Hello! Happy Friday everyone! This is another CAS card that the ladies got to make at my Spring Catalog class. Again, this was inspired by a card that I saw in the Spring Catalog. Click here to flip through the pages of the catalog.
I love the Big Shot (113439) and I love using embossing folders. We used one of the embossing folders from the Delicate Designs Folders (127023). The DSP that we used is from the Print Poetry Designer Series Paper Stack (129312). All of the patterns are so pretty and fun to play with.
And look at that cute little butterfly! We used the new Bitty Butterfly punch (129406) and added a Large Pearl (125577). The 'celebrate' sentiment is from the Sale-a-bration stamp set - feeling sentimental Stamp Set (Clear 129630, Wood 129627). Click here to check out the other cool stamps from the set.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful Friday!!
