It's a Boy!!

Hello everyone!

Today we get to see a couple of our best friends at their babyshower :) We are so super excited! We can't wait to see them and congratulate them on this joyous occasion!

I wanted to make another card with onesies. Remember that card? Click here if you'd like to check it out. But, instead of the onesies, I decided to cut out the letters B-O-Y since they are having a boy :) And I'm loving the new Typeset Alphabet Bigz Dies (127553)! So, I just had to use them on this card. hehehe.

And aren't those mini clothespins so super cute?!?! I also added some flowers to the grass to add some color to this outdoor setting.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend :)

More MDS - Your Baby's Baptism

Hi! Here is another hybrid card that I made for my cousin's daughter's baptism. My sister-in-law also requested a card from me :) My family is so sweet to think of me when it comes to making cards for special occasions :D

I went with a similar layout that I used for my mom and dad's card that I posted earlier this week. Click here to check out that card. For this card, I used the Script DSP for the background and the bird from the Elementary Elegance digital download.

I layered the MDS piece onto coordinating Wisteria Wonder card stock and added some Whisper White and Wisteria Wonder flowers with some basic rhinestones to the card front.

And there you go, another clean and simple card using MDS :) I love that there are so many possibilities when using MDS!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

For Mye

Happy Birthday Cousin!!

Today I wanted to wish someone a special Happy Birthday. I didn't get a chance to mail out the birthday card, but I wanted to post birthday wishes today to let her know that I'm thinking of her on her special day. I hope she enjoys her day and I hope all of her birthday wishes come true :)

Here is her birthday card...

To make this card, I used the Afternoon Daydream Scrappin' Kit (126927), which is one of my favorites these days. The Pool Party, More Mustard, Primrose Petals and Basic Gray color combination is so pretty to me. And those flower and butterfly card stock stickers are great! And there's the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Curly Cute stamp set again :) It comes in both clear mount (120510) and wood mount (117014). Click here if you'd like to start shopping. And don't forget to choose me as your Demonstrator :)

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

Stars & Stripes

Happy 4th of July!!

Really quick post today but I wanted to share the card that I made for friends and family. I went with inspiration from the American flag. I wanted to make something clean and simple so I used MDS to create this layout by lining up some stars, printed it out, added some baker's twine, added some layers, and there you have my version of Stars & Stripes :)

Celebrate and enjoy the fireworks today! Be safe and have a wonderful day!

Curly Cute Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday to
my Mother-in-law!

Today is a special day because we get to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday. Those fireworks that you'll hear or see tonight, some of them are for her ;)

To make her card, I decided to let go of my hoarding habits and use DSP and card stock from the Afternoon Daydream Simply Scrappin' Kit (126927). I just love this kit and will have to buy another one soon! I love the color combination of this kit and an added bonus - the card stock stickers with butterflies :)

I also wanted to use a couple of my new favorite Big Shot products - the Fancy Fan Folder (127751) and the Oval Accent Bigz Clear Die (127005). For the Happy Birthday sentiment, I used the Curly Cute stamp set (Clear 120510, Wood 117014), which is another one of my faves.

And for embellishments, I added some Pool Party 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon (122975), which is one of my favorite ribbon styles and of course, I also added some mini flowers using the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309) with some Rhinestone Basic Jewels (119246).

We hope she enjoys her special day! And we hope she knows how much we love her and how much we appreciate everything she does.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day :)

MDS - Your Baby's Baptism

Hello everyone! Today, I'd like to share a clean and simple hybrid card. My mom and dad asked me to make a card for my cousin's daughter's Baptism and I decided to use a little bit of my MDS. I went with something simple and came up with this...

Once you have your template going on, it's easy to just print and layer onto a card with coordinating card stock. I also added some little flowers and bling to add a little dimension to the card. Of course, I used the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309).

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the beginning of your week :)
