Happy Holidays

Hello! Here is another card that we got to make at my Holiday card making class last month. This was another card that I cased from a project that I saw in the Stampin' Up! annual catalog. There are so many great ideas in that catalog! I love just flipping through the pages :)

This christmas tree was a fun stamp to play around with and that "Sending Wishes of HAPPY HOLIDAYS to You and Yours" is from the Christmas Lodge stamp set (123769). Actually, both stamps are from that stamp set.

I had fun with this card because I went outside my creative box for this one. I used a different color that I don't normally use. I used Always Artichoke for the green of the christmas tree instead of my go-to Lucky Limeade or Old Olive.

And for the star on top of the tree, we just added one of the larger Basic Rhinestones Jewel Accents (119246).

Hey guys! Here's another card from Niki's Black and White class. I really do like the look of black and white cards. Clean and Simple and oh so elegant, too. And that First Edition Specialty DSP (121878) is so versatile. It goes well with all different kinds of cards.

The tree is from the Lovely As a Tree stamp set (Clear 127793, Wood 115026) and we added some bling to the top. Doesn't it sort of look like a Christmas tree? Pretty cute, huh? The Rhinestone Basic Jewels (119246) are a must to have on hand just in case you want to add some bling to a card or project.

And the 'Some things have to be believed to be seen' sentiment is from the Just Believe stamp set (Clear 120453, Wood 116948). We tore one side of the card stock to give it that extra textured look. Then added an Antique Brad (117273), which is one of my favorite embellishments.

Layered Christmas Tree

Hello everyone! Here is another card that we got to make in Niki's Stamp-a-stack class last week. This card is so cute and was so fun to make! You just take little pieces of DSP and start layering the Christmas Tree. It's such a great way to use up your scraps, right?!?! How cool is that?!?!

And for the star on top of the tree, we used the star from the Holiday Collection Framelits Dies (127814) to cut out the Silver Glimmer Paper (124005).

To add some texture to the card, we also used the Northern Flurry Folder (120902).

I know Halloween is just around the corner and I can't wait to start creating some Halloween cards and decorations but it's not too early to start thinking of those holiday cards! Especially if you want to send out hand made cards to friends and family.
