Curly Cute Thank You

Hello! Here is a thank you card that I made awhile back. My husband asked me to make one for him to give to someone, but I liked it so much, I kept it for myself and made him another one.
For this card, I used Calypso Coral, Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake for the color scheme. I also used the En Français background stamp (109521). I love the look that it gives to cards. The 'THANK YOU' sentiment is from the Curly Cute stamp set (Clear 120510, Wood 117014).
To add some dimension to the card, I added some Pearl Basic Jewels (119247). These embellishments always add that extra special little touch to cards or projects.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!

Mother's Day card

Hello everyone! Here is the mother's day card that I made for friends at work and for family that I got to visit. I totally dropped the ball on mailing out these cards to all my mommy friends and to family out of state. I'm so sorry :( But I hope you all had a wonderful mother's day :)
I went clean and simple with this card and used negative space to sponge in these pretty butterflies. I added some itty bitty flowers and a bitty butterfly with pearls to add some dimension.
I also used an embossing folder to add some texture to the edge of the card. I really do like this embossing folder, it adds that fanciness and elegance to cards that I think is pretty :)

happy birthday

Hello! Here is a birthday card that I made:
I used a Tea Lace Paper Doily (129399) and we cut out a dress using the Dress Up. Then we used the Perfect Polka Dots Folder (117335) and added one of the flowers from the Vanilla 5/8" Flower Trim (126869).
The "happy birthday" sentiment is from the Wishes Your Way stamp set (Clear 129156, Wood 129153). And scattered some small flowers using the Itty Butty Shapes Punch Pack (118309) then added some Pearl Basic Jewels (119247).
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day :)

Thinking of You

Hello everyone. Here is a card that I made for a friend at work. She recently lost someone close to her and her family and I wanted to give her a card to let her know that I was thinking of her and that she and her family were also in my heart and my prayers during this difficult time.
I went clean and simple with this card. I went with stamps from the Everything Eleanor stamp set (Clear 124164, Wood 124162). I love all the stamps in this stamp set. You can use them for any occasion that calls for some flowers and swirly-ness.
I also used some Wisteria Wonder 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon (122973) and added some little flowers using the itty bitty flower from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309). I also added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels (119246).
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

Congratulations Banners

Hi! This card was another card made using one of SU's photopolymer stamps in Niki's Thursday night class. Oh and in case you didn't know, I'm a huge fan of banners and what's so cool about this stamp is that you can move it around!
The banner stamp looks like this when you get the set....
But look what you can do!! You can bend it to make these lovely banners :) Pretty cool, huh?!?!
Thanks for stopping by and have a nice day :)

Thanks So Much

Hello! Here is one of the cards that we made in my stamping class last month. This card was inspired by a card that my friend Nicole made. Her card was for the Adoption cards that we made awhile back. I thought it was so cute, I knew I just had to CASE it :)
Click here to check out her cards. They are super adorable!
And you have to hop on over to OWLways Crafting to check out all of her other lovely creations. This is her new blog but she also has another blog that she shares with her sister. Hop on over to teehee4two to check out some other projects that they've made.
I love getting inspiration from my creative stamping friends :)

Happy Birthday

Hello everyone! Happy Friday! Here is a birthday card for my friend Patricia. She is celebrating her birthday this weekend and I wanted to pass this card around to the gals at work so that they could wish her a very special happy day :)

I used some Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper (126154). I still really like this DSP and the great thing about it is that you can still grab some for yourself in the Clearance Rack! Click here to check out all the great deals!
I also used a ton of Pearl Basic Jewels (119247). It was fun placing them on the ribbon and also on the little flowers. Yup, there goes that punch again! I do love the little flower punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309). It really is an SU staple for me.

For the sentiments, I went with the Create a Cupcake stamp set (Clear 121982, Wood 121915). I hardly ever stamp a sentiment on the inside of the card and I was glad that I grabbed this set because of the different birthday phrases.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day :)

For Aly

Happy birthday Alyson!
Hey everyone! Today is a very special day because it's my SIL's birthday. And it's an extra special one because she's turning the big something-whatchamacallit ;) I've seen these cards around and I thought it would be a fun one to make for her birthday card.
I used the Honeycomb Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (129378) from the Spring Catalog to emboss the card base, then used it on a piece of DSP from the Print Poetry Designer Series Paper Stack (129312). I cut out the little hexagon shapes and placed them randomly on the card. I wish there was a punch because I so did not cut them out right! hehe.
And of course, I had to use the Elegant Butterfly punch (127526) and the little flower punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309). I also added some Pearl Basic Jewels (119247) to the butterfly and each flower. The "HAPPY Birthday" sentiment is from the Curly Cute stamp set (Clear 120510, Wood 117014).
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day :)

Happy Birthday

Hello! Here is another lovely creation by my friend and upline Niki. Isn't it so pretty?!?! I love the look of it. And you gotta love the Framed Tulips Folder (121809) and how it adds a nice frame to a card.
And look at this rosette made with the Vanilla 5/8" Flower Trim (126869). I think this needs to be added to my wish list! It makes such a nice addition to a card, doesn't it? And that Tea for Two Designer Series Paper (129311) is definitely going on my wish list!
And look how pretty this butterfly is! Vellum on top of cardstock... I'm thinking I need to try that on some cards. If you'd like to try it out, too, you can use the Elegant Butterfly punch (127526) to get this look.
Check out StampinWithNiki for more of Niki's lovely creations.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day :)

And this Happy Birthday card was created by my friend and upline, Nicole. She is amazing! Check out all the love that went into creating this card. Lots of sponging, so many different punches, different DSP and an embellishment here and there. You should also hop on over to teehee4two to check out her other creative projects. Nicole shares the blog with her sister Andrea, she's pretty awesome too.

White Christmas Wreath

Hey everyone! Here is another beautiful wreath from last week's wreath making party. My friend Marita created this oh so elegant wreath. Isn't it so pretty?!?! This wreath reminds me of a beautiful white Christmas. Even though I'm a California girl, I've watched enough movies and TV shows to have a picture of what a white Christmas could look like ;) Anyhoo, the stuff that Marita comes up with are amazing! Hop on over to MadeByRitz by clicking here to check out all her other super creative and fancy projects.
She used this folding technique that I've been wanting to try out for awhile now. And when she showed me how to do it, I was inspired again to try it out! And look at that string of pearls, those white bobbles and that satin bow. So elegant and fancy :) This girl is so talented that she finished this wreath in the dark. There was a moment in time when a head band light was invovled, but it didn't last too long. I almost took a picture of Marita wearing it, but do you see the light shining in the background, behind the wreath? That's as close I got to taking a picture of it. hehehe.
Stay tuned for more projects from the wreath making party. Because there's more to come!

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day :)

For Meghan

Happy Birthday Meghan!!

Hey guys! Today is my friend Meghan's birthday and for her special day I made her a birthday banner, which I will be hanging up at her desk when I get into the office later this morning. And of course, I'll share it with all of you soon, so come back and visit to check it out :) Here is the card that I made for her.

I had fun making this card especially since I used tons of SU stuff that I love! I used the En Français background stamp (109521) and did a lot of sponging to give this card that kinda sorta antique-y look and feel. I also used some Comfort Café DSP (126898) and some Summer Starfruit card stock (126839) to add a pop of color. The 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' sentiment is from the You’re Amazing stamp set (Clear 126722, Wood 126720). It has been on my wish list for a long time and I just got it so I just had to play with it right away! And what's so great about this stamp set is that it coordinates with the Apothecary Accents Framelits (127003). I love how SU has so many products that coordinate so well with each other!

And of course, I had to add some embellishments so I grabbed those lovely Pearl Basic Jewels (119247) and Large Pearl Basic Jewels (125577). I accented the flowers that I punched out using the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309) with some of those pearls. And I also added some Pool Party 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon (122975). I know the ribbon is already ruffled but I wanted to add a bit more ruffle for fun :)

I hope she likes her card and I hope that she enjoys her special day! Hope all your birthday wishes come true Meghan :D

Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!
