Holiday Swag

Hi!!!! Today, I'd like to share some other projects that people created at the wreath making party. There weren't just wreaths everywhere, there was some holiday swag, too :) My friend Lynne was on a roll that night! She ended up making 5 projects and here are the other two non-wreath projects that she made.
There was some blue ribbon with white polka dots laying around and she took the challenge and decided to try and make something with it. For her second one, she went with more green and gold instead of blue and silver. Aren't they both so pretty?!?!
My friend Meghan made something, too! At first, she just wanted to be one of the "I'm just going to eat and drink and watch everyone else get creative" people, but she soon joined the ranks of the crafty ones and she made this lovely holiday swag. She wanted a little something for her home to help make it smell like Christmas and I think it turned out beautifully!
Have a great day everyone and thanks for stopping by :)

Stars & Stripes

Happy 4th of July!!

Really quick post today but I wanted to share the card that I made for friends and family. I went with inspiration from the American flag. I wanted to make something clean and simple so I used MDS to create this layout by lining up some stars, printed it out, added some baker's twine, added some layers, and there you have my version of Stars & Stripes :)

Celebrate and enjoy the fireworks today! Be safe and have a wonderful day!

Another Happy Easter Card

Good morning and HAPPY EASTER!

For me, today is all about family, about reflecting on the last 40 days of fasting & prayers during Lent, and of course, about celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. I have been blessed to have Him in my heart and in my life. I have also been blessed with a wonderful family and I am thankful for all they do and for everything they've done. I love you guys!

Here are a few pictures of the card that I made for my family. I learned the technique on how to create the egg from one of the cards designed by my friend and fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Alyssa. Her card was demo-ed at our Spring Fling stamp camp back in February.

And along with the card, I used the Simply Scored and Simply Scored Diagonal Plate to create a custom made envelope! I so love these tools and they are a must have! Especially if you want to make matching envelopes for your hand made cards :) Check out the matching envelope. I love how it gives the card that extra special touch.

Here is a list of the SU supplies that I used to create the card:
Tag Corner Punch (retired)
Extra-Large Oval Punch (119859)
1-3/8" Circle Punch (119860)
Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309)
Modern Label Punch (119849)
Word Window Punch (119857)
Basic Rhinestones Jewels (119246)
Pool Party Classic Stampin' Pad (122938)
Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set (115370)

Happy Easter card

Hello everyone! Happy TGIF and Good Friday :)

I don't know about you, but I am so looking forward to the weekend! It's Easter weekend, which means spending time with family and reflecting on the Lenten season. And I get to watch my little nephew try to find eggs during his own personal Easter egg hunt! And! I get to watch The Hunger Games for the *ahem-th* time ;)

Today, with the encouragement from my stampin friends, I want to share the Easter card that I will be handing out to my friends at work. I've seen this little bunny all over the place and I thought this little guy was just so cute! I am such a big fan of punch art and I wanted to try it out. Here is what I came up with:
