Birthday Banner and Decor

Hello everyone! Happy Saturday :) Here are the decorations and the birthday banner that we set up in Lynne's cube for her birthday. There were so many funny pictures of the birthday girl with drawn in mustaches or piratewear... these gals are hilarious!

Here is the view from outside of her cube. We tied up the banner to block the entrance way :) And then the gals taped up a bunch of funny pictures inside, added some flowers, tied the cake balloon to her chair, added some confetti and placed the shoes all over.

For the banner, I decided to go with pennants and bold colors with fun patterns that reminded me of the birthday girl. I also embossed the letters with the Square Lattice Folder (119976) to add some texture for fun.

And isn't this balloon awesome with the pink and black zebra print?!?!

Here are the pretty flowers that we gave her.

And look at the fancy footwear and confetti that we scattered all over.

I hope the birthday girl got a kick out of the shoes ;) hehe and all the other decorations.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!

Cheers!

Hello and Happy Friday! Today I have a guest stamper for you :) My friend Marita made this card for our friend Lynne's birthday present. A bunch of us gals got her a gift card to one of her favorite stores - Anthropology :) One of the gals had mentioned that she has had her eye on something there and we decided to help her out so that she could get it for her birthday.

This card is so fun! And the new Happy Hour stamp set (Clear 126642, Wood 126640) is a fun new set! With all the different types of drinks and sentiments, you can use it to say Cheers! to anyone celebrating a special occasion.

And check out those 3/8" Basics Glimmer Brads (121003) and Silver 1/8" Mini Brads (122941). Gotta love the sparkle :) And the Stripes Folder (123128) adds that extra texture to the card. Matches the ribbon, don't you think?

And when you use the Stampin' Write markers, look how fun the different drinks are :)

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Fancy Footwear

Hey everyone! So, one of my gal pals at work is celebrating a very special birthday in a few days and of course we had to do up her cube with favors, cards, flowers, balloons and a banner. Because you know, that's how we roll ;) hehe.

Here are the shoe favors that I made for her. She is a shoe FANATIC! and let me tell you, she is always rockin' a cute pair of shoes every day! I got the inspiration to make these shoes from my upline and friend Nicole's friend Sia. Sia is awesome and so super creative! Check out her cute heels here. And Sia got the shoe template from Skip to my Lou, which is a pretty awesome blog. You should check it out!

So, I made 6 different shoes and we picked fun and colorful patterns for the birthday girl. And I embellished each one with it's own flare. Check them out...

And stay tuned for the rest of the birthday decorations. The other gals were hard at work to make this birthday special, too :) I can't wait to share them with you!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by :)

Perfectly Preserved Thank You

Hello! Today I'd like to share another Holiday Soiree stamp camp card. This one can be used for Thanksgiving :) And it's a great card for the Fall season with the fall colors, the woodgrain embossing folder and that stamp set and those framelits are super cute! This card was created and demo-ed by my friend and fellow demonstrator Lorraine. Hop on over to Lorraine's Stampin' Corner to check out all her other lovely creations :)

For this card, there's some two-step stamping going on with the Perfectly Preserved stamp set (Clear 126692, Wood 126690) which is pretty fun. At least, fun for me... once I get over the initial nervousness of two-step stamping. hehe.

And the cool part about this stamp set is that there is a coordinating framelits set. You can get the Cannery Set Framelits Dies (127822) separately OR you can get them all together in the Perfectly Preserved Bundle (Clear-Mount Bundle 129944, Wood-Mount Bundle 129943). Don't know about you, but I am a HUGE fan of Stampin' Up!'s coordinating sets. They are definitely a must have for me. Especially if the Big Shot is involved ;)

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!!

Open Sleigh Card

Hello everyone! I wanted to go back to a stamp camp card today. Sorry it has taken me so long to share all of the lovely cards that the ladies got to make at stamp camp. But I promise, I'll get to all them soon :)

This is one of the Christmas cards that was demo-ed and created by my friend and fellow demo Alyssa. Hop on over to her blog - mommy, etc - to check out all her awesome projects!

This card was fun to make and has several cool things going on. There's some of that pretty glimmer paper, some seam binding ribbon, some heat embossing, some big shot work, and some piercing action!

I wish that I could have taken better pictures, but that pretty sleigh is actually heat embossed! It was embossed using some Early Espresso Stampin’ Emboss Powder (128980) and the new Heat Tool (129053). The new heat tool is pretty cool because it has a slim, sleek design, which makes it easy to hold and with 2 heat settings, low for drying ink and high for heat-setting powder, it is more versatile.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day :)

Baby Shower Decorations

Hello and Happy Monday!! Here are the decorations from my SIL's baby shower. Since she requested purple for the color, I went with Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant. And to accent those colors, I added some Early Espresso and Lucky Limeade to the mix.

To make these decorations, I of course had to use MDS2! It makes creating party decorations so fun and easy :) And the best part is that I already had a baby shower ensemble digital download and all I had to do was change up the colors and the DSP and viola! Done and Done :) Here is the BABY GIRL ANCHETA banner:

And here are a few close ups of the banner. Another cool thing about MDS2 is how well the digital punches coordinate with SU punches. I just printed out those scallop circles with the letters and used the 2-3/8" Scallop Circle punch (118874) to punch them out. Pretty cool, huh?

The water bottle wrappers were pretty easy peezy too because there was already a template. Just add your own personal sentiment and change up the digital image if you like and you're all set!

And then there's the decoration for the cupcake stand. Along with the bigger pennants for the larger banner, there are mini pennants included in the Hello, Baby Ensemble Kit - Digital Download (126159). I'm a huge fan of pennant banners so I just HAD to use them for the baby shower :)

For the cupcake toppers, I printed out the scallop circles with the different Wisteria Wonder and Elegant eggplant DSP and cut them out with the 1-3/4" Scallop Circle punch (119854). I also used the text tool in MDS2 and punched them out with the 1-3/8" Circle punch (119860) to personalize the backs of the cupcake toppers.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day! Oh and Happy Columbus Day :D
