Dwayne's Bday Invitation

Hello! Today, I have a birthday invitation to share with you guys. My cousin was so sweet to ask me to make the invitation for her son's 7th birthday party. I'm always glad when my family asks me to help out but this time around, I had less than a week to make his invitations! Oh the things we do for family :)
When she told me that the theme of the birthday party was "Soccer", I turned to My Digital Studio of course!! I don't have any sports themed stamp sets so MDS to the rescue!! It's so fun to play with and oh so dangerous too because it's oh so easy to purchase and download stamp brush sets!!
For this invitation, I used the Game Day Soccer Stamp Brush Set - Digital Download (132684) and for the colors, I went with Whisper White, Basic Black and Real Red. The "You're Invited" image is from the Oh, Hello Stamp Brush Set (130665).
And what's great about MDS is that you can also use any of the fonts that are already on your computer to create the wording of the invitation for the inside of the card. To add some SU feel, I added the soccer player image as the background.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day :)

Stockton-Con 2013

Hey everyone! It's been awhile hasn't it? I'm so sorry for not posting anything in awhile and let me tell you... I sure have missed it!! But be prepared! There was still some crafting going on so I'll be sharing all the adventures that I've been up to lately. And this is what I want to share with you guys today. Stockton-con 2013 was over the weekend and I actually had a table! I was oh so nervous but it was pretty exciting being behind the table at a Con this time around. It's a totally different experience! And here is what I had going on....
My friend Mary Anne and my hubby Ben encouraged me to get a table at Stockton-Con and I put my big girl pants on and actually followed through!! So, I have been a busy little crafting bee the last month or so to get ready for this event. And I was so lucky to have Mary Anne and Ben help me out throughout the day with sales, talking to customers and making things by request.
I had so much fun setting up my table and displays. I do like how it turned out and everything was accessible for people to look at as they walked through. There was so much to see and I was so humbled when people actually stopped by my table to take a look at what we had to display. The people were amazing and the costumes were awesome!
I had some glass key chains......
Some bottle cap key chains.....
Some glass pendant lanyards.....
And some bottle cap necklaces.
It was such a busy day that when I finally remembered to take a picture of the crowd, it was the end of the day. And there were still quite a few people walking around, looking, and shopping :)
Thank you again to all those wonderful people who stopped by my table and a special THANK YOU to Mary Anne and Ben for making this event so memorable and for making me laugh all day :)

Thanks everyone for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!
